I live in bristol at uni, i have split up with my gf and still have 2 see her everyday and we all have a house arranged for next year and are going to live together. i dont really like things at uni at the moment and spend alot of time back home missing lectures, i am hoping next year that i will have a job and be part of some clubs so i can spend as little time in the house as possible and see the housemates as little as possible too but im a bit worried that it wont be that simple. im worried i will feel the same in september but i dont want to lose out on the house in case im fine with everything by then. what should i do? i only live 45 mins drive from uni but im not sure i want to commute either because part of being at uni is being independant.
oh, i also feel like the friends we had are kinda going to her side of things so i have no friends as such any more and need to start from scratch, like my 1st year again.
I know i have asked this a few times but i need the answers!!

i'm not even pregnant but my freind has a kid and she told both of the dudes that they were both the dad...and those two men do not talk to eachother isnt that messed up. My bf has a problem with the fact that i dont like to kiss in public. He told me it makes him feel as if i care more about what other people feel than for him. this is totally not true because i dont give a da mn what other think of me, i just feel like making out is a private thing. i was thinking about it and understand where hes coming from but im not sure if i should tell him i changed my mind or just leave it alone and see how things go next time i see him

well my gf broke up with me last march after we had been together for about 2 years. . . she started hanging out with this guy i knew from hs the next day and she knew i hated him and she proceeded to mess around with him like a week after we broke up which was really inconsiderate to me. The reason for the breakup was that she wanted to date around and she said she knew we would get back together sometime. Well it has been almost a year now and they have been together ever since(even though only officially for about 6-7 months) but anyways . . i tried to get her back for the first 2 months and it wasnt going anywhere so I went nc in june and i have been ever since. for the first 6 months she would try calling, texting,emailing . .anything to try to get me to talk to her. . even emailed me on our anniversary that said "today was 2 years" . . she would try to contact me on average every 1-3 weeks for 6 months. she even tried to get me to hang out with her . . continued below

she even tried to gee me to come to her bday party when he was going to be there . .knowing that it would cause a fight . . .then there was a break from december till just a week ago when she sent me another email saying "just wondering if ur done hating me yet". .. i just dont get it . .. she seems happy from what I can tell . . she going on sb with her bf and everything . . why is she trying to contact me after 9 months of me not contacting her back? . . what does she want? What do u think is going on in her head?

i can understand like the first couple months because maybe she wasnt sure about her new bf . . but it has been a year and she is still trying to contact me . . .wouldnt she get the hint when i havent responded in 9 months? If she was that happy then why would she still be doing this?

i was sexually abused by my stepfather when i was younger. i didn't remember it until i was about 22. i told my mother. he denies it. and then my mother turned her back on me and told me all kinds of things like i deserved it and etc. we have always been bestfriends until it comes to her husband. she has told me that i am never to speak on this subject again and i haven't. but now i'm ready to rid myself of this horrible secret that i feel like i'm still obligated to keep. she has agreed to talk to me what should i say to her? I don't want to hurt my mother cause i know it's hard for her to hear that he hurt me in this way, but i also don't want to live in agony continuously keeping this secret. i just need her to support me and get him some help.

im a girl and i have this guy friend. i thought we were really close, we used to talk alot and share personal stories and we even talked about the fact that we are attracted to each other even though nothing will happen cos of his long distance relationship with his girlfriend. the thing is whenever i text him to hang out he never texts back and when i see him the next day he says he got the message late or makes some excuse. but he always manages to text me when he needs help with his college work. i dont understand whether he's just a fake friend who is using me since we seemed to click s well and he always says im the only person at college hes met that hes on the same level with. what do u think. ive been distant from him lately because i feel used and he asked me the other day if i had a problem with him. should i bother telling him or just end the so-called friendship.

Why is it the parent who leaves the marriage for another person believes the impact on the kids will not be too serious while the one who is left believes it will? Are we projecting our own feelings onto our children? As the spouse that was left and the one who has custody of the kids, I worry about them. I see how the divorce and the new woman in their father's life is impacting them. My ex believe I worry too much. He believes they are fine. Their counselor advised that my ex will not see problems because he feels guilty and does not want to see. Who is right? Or do we have to meet in the middle?

i had a crush on guy that was friends with my best friend. i told her to hook me up on him but she always comes back and tells me that h has a girl friend or he doesnt want to have anything to do with me. turns out all this wasn't true. recently i started talking to the guy and he told me my best friend said the opposite. she told him i didnt like him at all. I met him online 7 years back, we started talking on the phone and after 4 years we met in person. He is the one guy who knows me so well he can read my mind, literally! And the best part is he always knows what I want to hear! And the same the other way around. I've never felt a connection this strong. We've even had weird phases where we thought we were turning into something more than friends and it scared us to death. We fell out 2 years back when he stepped back after realizing he might cause my boyfriend and I to break up, I was very hurt. But we patched up when my boyfriend left to the US. But never got back to normal. I recently met him at the Iron Maiden show, and we held hands and each other and headbanged, for us metalheads thats romantic. I can't stop thinking about him now. I spoke to him after that and we both thought the concert was perfect. And we had both been digging up old emails remembering each other. We're both seeing other people right now. my girlfriend is leaving for her gap year this summer for 9 months atleast, whereas I am already at uni, first year.
we've only been together for 2 months, but by the time she leaves for travelling we would have been together for quite a few months.

she says she does not want to break up, but Im not sure what to do.

Do you think it's possible to keep a relationship going without seeing each other for that long....
