What would be a good gift to give a girl that barely know for her Bridal Shower? I thought about getting something from Bath and Body Works but another girl that is going has already gotten her something from there. She isnt registered anywhere for her wedding.

My guy friend is now dating my girl friend and although we have history, it doesn't bug me...until he starts hitting on me again. She knew he was flirty like this when they hooked up, but I can't handle it.
I've told him to knock it off, but I don't think it made it through that thick skull of his. I'm not a homewrecker. Any advice?

I just asked a girl that I like if she wanted to go out. She said yes, but before she gave me her response, she paused for a few seconds and was like umm....Anyways, I was just wondering is it normal, or did she just want to be friends, or am I just worrying too much. Any helpful advice would be greatly appreciated.

Ok here's the problem: I've been dating my boyfriend for almost 3 months now, I've noticed in his room he has TONS of pictures of Kate Moss. I thought it was no big deal he just had a crush on a model most of us have one on some celebrity...but the other day he told me the reason he started talking to me was because he thought I looked like Kate Moss. I don't see the resemblance, but he seems to. I know its probably not that big of a deal, but I just feel upset because he only got to know me because I looked like a copy of somebody. Should I be upset?

He is one of those guys whose attitude and self esteem rubs on you in a contagious way. I realize that He is one of the most negative guys out there in the world. If you want to chase after a personal goal, he’s probably not the best person to be around because his low morale will rub on to yours and bring it down too. When he is down, he will not admit that he is feeling down so he will B.S and make it seem that for some reason beyond his control, the tides are working against his favor. Further more, he does not like to be the only person in the world who feels low and depressed so he will talk to you and make it seem as if you are in the same situation so that he has another sympathetic soul who feels the same pain.

When you and he are chasing the same goal and it starts to fall apart, he will be the first who points the finger at you and criticize everything you say in every way possible to make it seem as if it is your entire idea.
When in front of girls, whether he is interested or not, he feels an uncontrollable urge to hog the conversation to B.S and brag.

When he feels that he has achieved something positive, he will brag about it like there is no more tomorrow. In addition, he will turn face and look down on you for not having achieved what he had. It gives him and feeling that if you are not doing what he is doing, then you are going in the wrong path.

Brags about sleeping with 26 different girls.
Also complains about being lonely.
Admits to buying almost all of them.

Im only in my early twenties, but I have been in two serious relationships...my first one was almost 3 years long...I dont know if it was me getting bored in that one...he just turned out to be a liar and a cheater so I finally got up the nerve to dump him. Now I'm living thousands of miles away from my family with a new boyfriend of two years...and I find myself getting terribly bored. I always tell myself when I get home from work that I am going to be nicer to him, to make a spark and make it a great night with him, but it never turns out that way. We seem like an old married couple and we're only in our early twenties. its very depressing. I try so hard to make it exciting and everything, but I just find myself getting bored, miserable and grumpy. Why does this happen and is there anything I can do to make this better? I'm afraid the relationship is going to end, but I really love him...should it end? or is there something i can do to help the situation?! please help me.

Ok, I'm finally asking a question. I want a serious answer (preferrably from someone who's gone through this). I have been dating my g/f for 1 year now, but I worry about how compatable we are, see, she believes abortion is right (I don't), she believes gays/lesbians are alright (wouldn't mind our children bringing gay friends over - if we have any) (I don't), and she doesn't believe in God like I do (her sister is atheist and had an effect on her). I am worried that these things may effect our marriage (if we were to marry) or our children. I love her dearly, but do not want any major problems when I get married, whether it be us fighting or whether it be effecting our children. I have already gone through a divorce because my ex was too attached to her parents to leave with me when my job moved to another state.

Am I being too paranoid? Will these problems work out? Is there too much difference between us? I appreciate any help (and be serious, I don't want joke answers).

i'm in high school. i like this shy guy but i don't know if he likes me. he sometimes stares at me but he stares at other people. before he used to talk to me and now he doesn't. he knows that i like him but it's because someone told him because she kept looking at me staring at him. and some other people know too and ever since i had new classes with him, he stopped talking to me but once in a while he stares at me. whenever i say hi to him, he says hi in a low voice. a few times he's blushed because people kept telling him i like him but when i asked him if he likes me he said no. my friend chelsea told me that some guys are too shy to admit that they like someone. the same thing happened to her too. her ex-boyfriend (before she dated him) always blushed and he always denied that he liked her and he didn't ask her out until the next year. so i want to know if he likes me or not. what are some signs that a shy guy may like me? (if you want to add some) thanks for the help

Hey I'm looking for a cute idea for my boyfriend for our one year. He's really creative and I want to get him back with creativeness but I'm at a loss. I've already written him a poem and made a scrapbook of photos of us for him. He has composed a piece of music for me (we both play band instruments and he wrote us a duet) and it was beautiful.

We already have plans for dinner that night and then we're having a miniature dance to some of our favorite songs. I just wanted a small idea or a push into a direction of what I can do for him. Any advice?

Thanks!

I currently have an employee that is a single mother with a 11 year old child. The employee has to miss alot of work because the 11 year old is sick very often. The father is not around to help out when she has to miss work to tend to kids. All of her family and friends work also. She has been with company for 2 years, and very good employee. No other issues, except absentees.
I understand that she has to tend to her child when he is sick, etc. She misses on average about 8 days of work a month.
I understand that these are often circumstances beyond her control, but this is an ongoing situation for the last 2 years.
Any suggestions?
