Whether it was a boy or girl or How Many????

When we had our kids, we got what we got. We had no idea what we were having and it really didn't matter. However, it is a good thing for the Dr. to know
what is going on and if the child is healthy. I still would rather have the surprise.
A friend sent us the picture of his 3rd grandchild to be. They don't want to know
but what an awesome picture. I treasure it as we go way back with our friends.
I think that this was an interesting question as a lot of people really do want to
know what they are having. It's also interesting to hear what people have to say.

Tough question! I would definately want to know if I was having more than one baby (I imagine that would be a little too much surprise to handle), but beyond that I'm not sure. Knowing the baby's gender makes baby shopping and name-picking a heck of a lot easier, but I think being surprised would add a whole new level of fun to having a baby (if you could call being pregnant fun, haha).

I would def. want to know how many! But I plan on being surprised with my first, you never get that first experience back, so why not enjoy it as much as you can? Plus it will give you something to look forward to, a nice surprise at the end of all that pain!

I, of course, cannot have a baby like you can (I'm male), but from my point of view I would rather not know.

I would love it to be a surprise, not knowing until the child actually arrives. Of course I would do whatever my wife preferred, for she is the one carrying it, but I would prefer not to know ahead of time.

There is some magic in not knowing so soon.

I would definitely want to know just because you can prepare the colors and the clothes, especially if you have never been a parent before it is one less thing to stress out about before the baby comes

Boy or girl, no. How many, yes. I want to be prepared, but I also want to have the element of surprise. I also don't want to have people sending me a slew of items in either pink or blue.

I did (my wife was pregnant) twice. I wanted to know what color to paint the room or if I needed 2 bedrooms.
And it is fun to figure out names while the guy isn't getting any for 9 months.

I did with both of my boys. I think it is good to know so you can plan better. Buying clothes, decorations, picking out names, etc. But I have also heard that not knowing is really fun too. It's a personal preference.

Yes, I'd want to know. I don't really care either way, but it would be nice to help pick names and decorate for a boy or a girl specifically.

I didn't want to know but the dad did and I lost out on the surprise. If I have a second I will not know for just wanting a pleasant surprise.
