i'm in high school. i like this shy guy but i don't know if he likes me. he sometimes stares at me but he stares at other people. before he used to talk to me and now he doesn't. he knows that i like him but it's because someone told him because she kept looking at me staring at him. and some other people know too and ever since i had new classes with him, he stopped talking to me but once in a while he stares at me. whenever i say hi to him, he says hi in a low voice. a few times he's blushed because people kept telling him i like him but when i asked him if he likes me he said no. my friend chelsea told me that some guys are too shy to admit that they like someone. the same thing happened to her too. her ex-boyfriend (before she dated him) always blushed and he always denied that he liked her and he didn't ask her out until the next year. so i want to know if he likes me or not. what are some signs that a shy guy may like me? (if you want to add some) thanks for the help

I wouldnt be surprised if hes sitting at home thinking about you.

3. has a girlfriend, which he only has to make u jealous.

OMG My guy's the same way, he told his sister he didnt like me but he's shy and he showed all the ovbious signs. He blushed when I'm around him, whenever I talk to him he has that certain little smile plastered on his face that he can't seem to get rid of, whenever I walk with him, he stays close to me and doesn't back away whenever I try to get closer to him, if I catch him staring at me, he quickly turns away, he laughs at my jokes even when they weren't inteded to be funny, whenever we're in the hallway and pass each other he says hey quietly but with a smile, and he is ususally interested in what I have to say. He likes you for sure, when I was in high school there was this guy and I had almost the same thing going on turns out a few years later he was and still is 10 years later NO LIE still in love with me....I had it bad for him back then but people grow and people change we hooked up once but my feelings had gone and unfortunately (for him) his didnt. But I do regret not trying to get him in high school

Ohh girl, shy boys - i SOO know them! hahaha they're the most "mysterious", indecisive (and frustrating) boys! But they're the sweetest and most sincere - very rare to find a good guy like that. They don't like to express their feelings and let it all out there. Most (i know) are just down to earth, homebodies, and really like girls that are COMPLETELY out of their league that they will never ever ever get in life. BUT they do have interest in good girls - girls that respect themselves (highly), dress good, sweet, smart, and fun. It takes BALLs for a guy to admitt to something - especially in the love department.

If he sits next to/close to you.



Tips
A general rule of thumb for guy crushes is that he will go out of his way to see you or talk to you. If he waits around for you when he could be off chatting with friends it could mean that he likes to be around you.
Be true to yourself. If you have to put on a show in order to get a boy's attention, then he doesn't like you for who you are.
He honest and strait forward. Guys can be shy too, and it can be very impressive for a girl to come forward and admit a crush.
Try to put aside your fear of rejection. Boys experience the very same thing and although it can sometimes paralyze you into keeping your feelings a big secret, it's not the end of the world if he doesn't like you back. The best thing to do is to try. If you don't try, nothing will happen.

i think he does but he's scared that people will make fun of him or something... and maybe the way you asked him intimidated him that he said no... but ask him again.. and this time ask him to look you in the eyes and say no... if he does then he really doesn't... the eye thing actually works for me whenever i want to get the truth out of someone!
