how would i bring up questiong my g/f about her past. u know w/o pissing her off. the **** doesnt bother me, but every now and then she brings something up from her past that bothers me. i just want her to tell me this stuff all at once and we can sort the mess out.

Its not really easy to talk about this but it would help, last week my dad beat me up, i broke some of my ribs and my sholder, i had to get stiches in my head, i wanna tell somone but im afraid that he might find out or that it will get him into trouble, i told every one that i fell downstairs and they believed me. He didnt have a reason he just did it because he felt like it and im afraid incase he does it again, its just me and him, my mom died last year and my big sister lives in California and i live in Michigan, is there anyone who i can talk to or tell but not a counsellor or anything because i think that might get him put in jail.

He has called me but very few times. I asked if he has a gf, and he said no that he is just shy around me. I've noticed that he does get nervous when we hang out, but eventually he gets comfortable and have a good time, on the phone we can talk a lot too but according to him he's not a phone guy. He says that texting is the way he talks to all his friends, and that he does use the phone but mostly they call him. I've told him i don't mind texting but to call me more often, he does it only that time i ask him to, and then goes back to the same old texts. Iv'e tried just blowing off his texts for weeks at a time and even then he would text me everyday. He says that he just feels he can talk to me better through texts. would this be too awkward? Should we invite other people? Should we go bowling, to a movie, or iceskating? Would this even work out and help me? I love my gf and her daughter. I've been with my gf for about 11 months. I love her and her 4 year old daughter. My entire life I was treated like crap by my stepfather. My dad wasn't much better. My stepfather was more verbally abusive, while my father was kind of unavailable. My girlfriend is the disciplinarian. We recently thought of a reward system. We posted the "house rules." Whenver her daughter does certain things such as clean her room, etc, she gets stickers. At the end of the week, if she does really well, we take her out for ice cream or let her rent a movie of her choice, but if she doesn't follow the rules, she gets one warning and has a timeout for four minutes (one min for every year). Is this a good system? I want to have a household where discipline is explained. I don't want to be a dictator. Also, when her daughter does well, I think it's important to give compliments. Do these seem like logical tactics. I'm 26, my gf is 31.

Two years ago, my boyfriend cheated on me twice, with different girls. These past years we've talked it over like you wouldn't believe -- I never knew someone could apologize so much. I know he's truly sorry and now we're SO happy together - happier than we've ever been... so is it bad that I still get jealous and worry that he's going to do it again?

I get scared over the stupidest little things like how he found a carpool ride for a 4-hour drive tomorrow with a girl he's never met... I worry that he'll flirt with her and something will happen even though i know in my heart it won't.

He says all the time how devoted he is now to me and how he'd never do something so stupid again -- we've been going out for over 4 years. But little things like this worry me all the time. I mean allll the time.

Any advice? Anybody else feel like this?

Alright...here goes....
When i was 16 yrs old, you could say that i found my first-love. We were inseparable, would do anything for each other, we were each other's first true-love. Since i grew up in a very strict household, my parents were against our relationship, esp.since i was so young. But we still stayed together, without either of our parents knowing for another 3-4 yrs. He had to break it off with me bcuz i had a friend who kept telling me not to trust him and from time-to-time, i would break upwith him and then get back together, break-up, get back together, etc...
I don't blame him for breaking it off, what was he supposed to do. Now, 7 yrs later, i see him in a dream, decide to try to contact him via one of those reunion sites, and to my surprise, he responded! We both r very happy to be in contact with each other again, but looks like neither one of us want to make the 1st move. I know he still has feelings 4 me, but he won't budge. Does he want a relationship?

Well lets get it straight my sister is a lot older than me and has kids my age so she is more like a mom to me...im 22 shes in her early 40s

On Saturday i saw her partner (aged 43 who she has been with for 15 years and has a child with) make a pass at my missus best mate..(my age) she denied his advance and laughed it off

while cookng some stupid recipe I saw on line. My wife said it was an accident, but man the skewer hurt. Perhaps I should switch from pork recipes to chicken?
