I am having trouble dealing with my mother. My husband and I BOTH decided that he and I are going to be the only ones in the delivery room, my mother is throwing a fit about this. I have tried talking to her and he has tried talking to her, but she is demanding that she be in the delivery room with us. I am due in 7 days and she has been coming over to our house every day to "critique" my house cleaning abilities and then start talking about how she should be in the delivery room with us. I am her only child and I understand she cares about me, but what can I do? She is becoming VERY overbearing.

here is the story, my husband hasnt seen or heard from his mother since he was about 5. just the other day he met 2 sisters that he didnt know he had, he has been trying to find his mother for years, and now that he met the two sisters(who are in foster care b/c mom is mia once again he really wants to find her more than ever, SO she ledt him with his dad when he was 5 and left these two girls with no one at all about 5 years ago... Horrible! SO the thng is I am trying to figure out some ways to locate her using the internet... I tried intellius... but it didnt help me much... I did find that she has a terrible criminal record and was in a jail in north carolina, it showed a pic of her and I showed my husband... i think i did the wrong thing... I feel so bad becuz he had the worst look in his eyes and he has been angry ever since. should i back off or should i look for her. if i going to continue to look what else do i do 2find her???

i love this girl who use to say that she liked me back but now calls her feelings "confusion". we talk now and i've helped her with some stuff, she'll open up to me about personal things. she says that i am romantic to the core but too intense. however she says that i gave her a great sense of confidence? we are in our young 20s, and so there is time, i would just like to know what could be between us, but does it sound like from what i told you she has written me of as a possible more than friend?

I confessed my feeling to my best friend. She took it well, but reaffirmed that she values our friendship but that's all it will be. I can live with that, as she is an amazing friend.

My problem lies with moving on from this. I've had the feelings for her for a very long time. Now that I've accepted that she's a friend, I'm having trouble moving on. Any advice?

I'm 14, and my parents have never brought up the subject of dating. I like this guy, and he also likes me, he goes to the same church as my uncle(who is very close to the family), and he's only a few months older than me. I have only talked to my aunt about dating, and she told me it would be alright if I start dating at 14, since her daughters were allowed to date at 13. I just have no idea to ask my parents if I'm old enough to date, but if they don't consent to it, I wouldn't make a big fuss, as they probably have their reasons. The question is how to ask them about dating, not how to ask them to let me date.

my boyfriends ex is now openly admitting that that child may not be his, it could be her ex boyfriends. She also openly admits she was cheating on him at the time she got pregnant. The child looks nothing like him and shes also doubting the father. He cannot get a DNA test because she wont allow it. He would like to terminate rights but is unsure how to since he signed the birth certificate at the time when he thought the child was his. He is more than willing to care for the child and pay support but there is no cooperation and the longer it goes the more she admits its not his but shes gonna take him for all hes got. any suggestions would be very welcome! thank you!

I go skating every saturday and im entering a roller derby so i try to get as much practice as possible and my parents just say its a waste of my time but skating is like my life i can't live a saturday without skating.I play the viola so if skating doesn't work out i can be successful for playing the viola cause i played for 4years straight.

So pretty much I am called up last Saturday by the most beautiful girl in the school and it turns out she likes me. so me and my bf has protected sex, and the condom seemed a lil bit loose but not loose enough to slip off, and also we didn't really seem to be able to get it in, and this was on 3/11/07. Ok well today I told the girl I like that I like her and she told me that she had already told another boy that she likes me. So I like her and she likes me back. But the thing is that she broke up with her boyfriend 2 months ago and well like 2 weeks ago she had said she was getting over her ex but wasnt 100% over. So should I ask her out tomorrow or wait a little more???
