The best age? When you can support yourself and don't have to ask what the best age is. In other words, when you are ready you will know it. It isn't a number.

That depends on the person. I went away to college at just barely 18 and never moved back home. During the summer break i got my own place and decided that it was time to move on alone w/o my parents help.

Ever person is different, but it's always scary to take that first jump. I'd honestly say that 18 is the time when you should start thinking about moving out or at the very least consider going to a college where you're far enough away from home that you don't depend on your family being close enough to help with everything. Move into a dorm room and see how you like that. If you can handle it consider getting an apt. of your own.

Personally i moved 9 hours away from my parents for college and then after college stayed 4 hours away from them just so that i don't depend on them for anything. I know too many people that move just down the road and end up going to their parents for dinner and laundry. It's ridiculous. You're on your own, you should be on your own.

When you are not only 'financial capable' but mature and responsible as well.
It would be better to do it with your parents blessing (if you are still at home) because you don't want to leave without any back-up support at all!

Good luck!

Depends on how comfortable you are. I would probably say when you graduate from university or at 24 whichever is first if you havent moved out already.
