I confessed my feeling to my best friend. She took it well, but reaffirmed that she values our friendship but that's all it will be. I can live with that, as she is an amazing friend.

My problem lies with moving on from this. I've had the feelings for her for a very long time. Now that I've accepted that she's a friend, I'm having trouble moving on. Any advice?

Remember shes still your friend, if she had wanted more you would have known it alot sooner, I'm really sorry your hurt but you owe it to your self to be open to dating and you might be surprised and meet someone who feels the same as you do about them and you still have your friend also good luck!!!

It will never be the same here on out so you might as well keep fighting for her. Screw the friendship and all this value stuff, my advice is tell her she's a great person but you can't lie to yourself or her if we can't go to the next level then have a nice life.
