Let's just say you were on the phone with an annoying friend. Why is she/he being annoying? They're so wrapped up in their own little world that all they talk about is their life, their problems, and never really ask me how I'm doing, feeling etc. The next time I'm on the phone with my friend, what should I say to end the conversation without telling her "stop being a biacth!" ? I'm not rude...

So there's this guy I like and the other day I was sitting in the cafeteria and he walked in and started walking to the lunch line. As he walked passed me and my friends I could have swore he was looking at my side of the table from the corner of his eye and I too was looking at him then he turned away . He then took a long time in the line and sat in the cafeteria (which he never does, and I know for a fact he has never seen me in the cafeteria before because usually i sit in a corner). Maybe he stayed bc we had a film showing in the cafeteria 10 minutes after lunch but Im not sure bc he left when the bell rang. Do u think he's just simply too shy to talk to me or what?

How come i still like him?
i use to like him long time ago but now i see him in the hallway and i started liking him again.
he is not cute or handsome but i dont why i like him. i never talk to him or smile.

Me and my wife are getting a divorce. She wants to just separate but I cannot deal with her going out to the bars and clubs every week. We have three kids. It all started when I was in Iraq. My wife started going out with female friends that she met. All of them are either divorce single moms or females that can't keep a man because they rather be messing around. We started having a lot of problems because she can't stop going out. She did not used to be like that. But it looks as if she got brain watched with this club and bar scene. I am not a home person. I do like to go out but I am a married man with a family and my responsability is my wife and kids. If she wants to go out then I'll let it be but it is not that easy thinking that the woman I loved wants to live that kind of lifestyle. I have never done nothing to her for her to act like this. I want to do what all 17 year old guys like to do (party, join fraternities etc) but I'd rather skip all of that and just get married. Ofcourse, I am going to pary and live the college experience (unless I DO get married) but I'd rather find my sweetheart and cuddle w/ her until the stars burn out. I am prolly not going to get married 'till later, but is this strange of me to want? Most of my friends just want to join a fraternity, drink beligerantly, and have random sex...


Just to make clear...I'm not ugly with no social life. I've had my fair share of opportunities with girls. I use to model and ive been heavy on the party scene. I just think my wife-to-be would appreciate it if I didn't have sex with a lot of girls before her. I know I wouldn't want my future wife to have had a lot of sexual experience either.

OK I'll try to make this short. I dated my ex for a short time then HE ended it. He's 26, I'm 21. He has lots of experience with dating, while he was my first kiss & first bf. Our relationship was so innocent, cuddling in his room, holding hands, kissing. We never had sex cuz he knew I wanna save sex for marriage. He would still say hi to me on msn even though HE ended it. It has been over for more than ONE YEAR. 2 months ago, he called me, after one yr. & wanted to make plans together so we could see a movie sometime. We set a date, he picked me up & after the movie he took me home. On the drive home, when I asked him why he wanted to see me, he said that he wants to "see me every once in awhile". I felt disrespected so when I got home I said "bye forever" to him on msn. Then I felt bad so a week later I said sorry to him on msn. Since then I have said hi to him 2 on msn. Then a few days ago he said hi to me on msn & he wanted to know what I had been up to.

When he is in a relationship with someone it is ok because I no he is out of bounds, and I can cope. But he has recently split up with his girlfriend. I was the first person he came to. Now that he is single again this then causes me to hope that something might happen between us! But I know nothing will happen at the same time. I compare all other dates to him, I just can't seem to move on. I don't want to lose him as a friend. I would rather have him as a friend than nothing at all. What should I do?

A girl that I know seems to show only a few subtle signs that she might like me (eg. only playing with her hair, staring at me, etc.), but not all of them, and they may be on and off. What does this mean?

Should I expect the signs to be constantly displayed, or will they only be shown only once in a while (eg. once every two to three days)? Also, if the signs are very subtle, does that simply mean that she is shy?

this guy i work with teases me alot. he always throws things at me or do other things to me. it is cute buy annoying sometimes. we sometimes get along and have very interesting conversations. (we also have alot in common) everyone at work knows he likes me and i think know i like him.

I really liked this guy (almost to the point of love) and I asked him out, but he said no. I've already accepted this fact as well as I can, but it's been well over three months, and my heart still hasn't been able to emotionally heal. I kind of know a friend and I want to get closer to her. I think she's shy around boys. I don't wanna freak her out and ask her random stuff like how's the weather. First this girl (who is the prettiest girl I have ever met) totally seemed to like me alot. She would look in my eyes talk to me and stuff. But it wasnt just flirting she would just ya know lite up when she saw me. She was just so openly happy around me. i am asking this question cuz it seemed as if me and my girlfriend really loved each other and then she broke up with me saying she realized she didnt love me and now we barely talk but i cannot stop thinking about her i cannot get over her sure ive kissed other girls but its not helping like i thought it would. i ask myself if im love but then i ask myself if love really is real or its just an illusion and im not talking about the love a parent has for their child but FALLING in love with another person does it really truly exist or is it merely an illusion
