I kind of know a friend and I want to get closer to her. I think she's shy around boys. I don't wanna freak her out and ask her random stuff like how's the weather. Sometimes when I ask her how her day is, all she says is "Good." She gives simple responses and it's really hard to get a conversation with her because it seems like I'm doing all the talking. I don't want our talks to be boring and like one-sided. Can you give me some good topics to talk to her about?

Find out what you have in common - what's her favorite class? Who's her best friend? What does she do after school - asking general questions like 'How was your day" will get you the general answer 'Okay!' And LISTEN VERY CAREFULLY to everything she tells you. TAKE NOTES if you have to, cuz we have a tendency to use it against you if we told you something and you don't remember! LOL sorry, must be from birth. Also, be willing to open up your life to her. She may be more interested than you think, especially if she is shy. And MAKE HER LAUGH! But not all the time! hehe Hey, good luck. She sounds like a lucky person to have you interested in her.

I would just ask her like what she's been doing. You should invite her to your house or something. Write her a note and tell her. She wont be as nervous. Trust me. I've been there. Hope this helps.
