You guys remember the guy I told you about? I am dating a guy I don't even like. And you guys told me to tell him the truth! But I don't want to hurt him....we have been friends for forever and I didn't want to say no to him. And he keeps giving me gifts...I know I am really mean for doing it, but I don't want to hurt him!! Help please!!! I am dying here!!! :(

Do you want to spend the rest of your life doing this? Tell him the truth. If he's a good guy, he'll understand. If he's a jealous guy who needs to stalk you, get a restraining order.
But you need to be happy. Not top heavy in the gift department.

You should break the news to him asap. You're going to have to do it one day, because you won't be able to stand this forever. Just tell him gently that you think that you guys should just be friends for now. You could even make him feel better by saying, "I'm sure you'll find someone who deserves you more than I do". (That might make him feel better, but it's kind of insulting yourself in a way......) Hope everything works out okay!

I think you should just tell him nicely, that you only want to be friends because he's not your type to date. Don't lead him on if you don't like him. Let him go so he can find a girl that does like him!

I would try to make him see it your way and tell him that you love all the attention but you don't think it is going to work out tell him it feels to weird because you guys are such close friends! I hope this works out for you good luck!
