I want to do what all 17 year old guys like to do (party, join fraternities etc) but I'd rather skip all of that and just get married. Ofcourse, I am going to pary and live the college experience (unless I DO get married) but I'd rather find my sweetheart and cuddle w/ her until the stars burn out. I am prolly not going to get married 'till later, but is this strange of me to want? Most of my friends just want to join a fraternity, drink beligerantly, and have random sex...
Just to make clear...I'm not ugly with no social life. I've had my fair share of opportunities with girls. I use to model and ive been heavy on the party scene. I just think my wife-to-be would appreciate it if I didn't have sex with a lot of girls before her. I know I wouldn't want my future wife to have had a lot of sexual experience either.

Well either you are lying and just trying to meet girls on here to get laid, or you are serious and one of the better guys. Or at least you think you are one of the better guys. In any circumstance, there is nothing wrong with you if you want to settle down and get married. But live a little first and find out how life really is and dating. Perhaps when you find a girl you like, try to live with her for a while and just figure out if you really want that lifestyle before you actually rush in. I'd recommend having sex only with a girl you've been in a relationship with for a while such as 6 months. Don't just randomly have sex with girls.

I dont think it's weird at all to be married at your age. To cuddle with someone and to know that you have someone in this World to love you more than anything else is a nice thought...but as much as you want it. Don't grow up to fast. I know it probably isnt what you want to here but I PROMISE wait till' your done with college before you go into marriage. NOW, it DEFINATELY doesnt mean you should be on the look-out for future wifes. Go party, go have fun and go mingle a bit.
You are absolutely correct! Girls don't want a guy who has had much expierence with sex...that turns me off COMPLETELY when I know that a guy lost his virginity with someone he isnt married to. I'm sure over the next couple of years you will learn to be more mature and find women that you want. Just go with the flow and let whatever happens happen....

Just do what feels natural to you. There is ABSOLUTELY nothing wrong with being different from everyone else or being very selective about who you share intimate relations with (which is a good thing).
I'm 21 (birthday last week on 10th :-D). I'm not into partying or drinking either. I'm not very social and just like having a small group of friends around me. I don't do the same things people my age do and I listen to music from 80's and 90's (whitney and mariah :-D). So I would consider myself a maverick.

you seem very mature for your age and that is great !
maturity is the key to becoming who you are as a person, experiences and situation you are in for a period of time, as you get older you will see. I am only 20 years old but i feel very mature for my age, maybe that of a 30 yr old woman.
But i do admit sometimes i act like im a 5 year old child, and i think that is ok! Taking life too seriously is not healthy, being ''too mature''. But you seem to know what you want in life and that is really wonderful. Remember to think about tomorrow, think for your future,because it is right around the corner. Start everything when you are young, that is the best way to start your life and career. you are one of the lucky ones who are blesses to have such maturity at your age!

Dude that's just how nice guy's are. You don't have to be like all your friends. I was like that at 17 didn't want to get married but I didn't want to do all the crazy things that my friends were doing. Also just like I am model and I do club like crazy and been all over the world. Your just a nice guy! but girls at 17 don't really want nice guys (most of them) don't pass out on college life have fun don't get crazy and drink like no tomorrow but have fun. It's an experience that you won't forget trust me and no you don't have to sleep around with all the girls out their just the one your in a REAL relationship with ( in love with) which shouldn't that many. well i think you should find a girl that you really like and think that she can make a commitment to you and believe me there are dozens of girls who would want a guy like you (or who you claim you are) and they would make a commitment, join a faternity, drink if you want, party(dont have random sex ofcourse) and get married later. but yer NEVER sure of whats gonna happen so jus let things happen, good luck<33

You seem very mature and with all the risks out there, it is not worth having casual sex. You should date and meet people but not sleep around. You'll know when you are ready to settle, you are young now but it is great that you are thinking smart. Most people regret how much they partied when in school!!!

You don't have to be a whore to have a good time in college. College is a great experience and it should be experienced by all. Don't rush into marriage, you have the rest of your life for that. Be young while you can, you can cuddle and be romantic without a wedding ring.
