here is the deal. i am going to college right now, my first year. I am undesided about my major, so i am taking general requrnments clases. my first choice was bussines, because my mom used to own a bussines, i work in a restaurant right now, so hospitalitu industry satisfies me. But a month ago i came across Yahoo 360 and since then i am kind of addicted to it. I like reading peoples problems, and i love answering to them with my thoughts and ideas. Every time i answer a question, i wrilly put my mind and heart into it. I am young, only 21, so i can noy say i have too much life experience, but still it makes me feel great, when someone tells me, thanks that was a great idea, or thought, or whatever. So my question is. anytime i ask anobody who you think i should become in the future, first question they ask:"What do you like to do?" i like business managment, i guess, and i like doing what i do on yahoo,i found out recently. Any ideas that is the best career for me. I am wrilly lost.

The long and short of it is that I am married. We have two children together & I am happy to be married to him, but I am extremely unhappy in the city where we live. I have spent five years trying to learn to be happier here (I grew up here) but the absolute truth is that I am so overwhelming unhappy...so much that it is consuming me.

There is nothing here for me in this city. Most of my family has moved on. I generally feel very lost & out of place even though I have lived here all of my life. I have far more bad memories and experiences here than good. Every day it eats away a little more at me to the point where I have contemplated leaving my very loving husband just so I can live somewhere else. I've tried talking to people, wishing it was just depression but nothing is helping.

That is where the problem lies. He refuses to move, not even to another city in the same state. He knows how unhappy I am & it doesn't seem to concern him.

I just can't take it anymore.

I have this TA for two of my classes and I really am attracted to him; however, it is not in that dirty "I want to sleep with him to get a good grade" way. I actually think he is an interesting person but I am afraid he will think I am weird or a skank. I am making A's in both the classes and I mostly understand the material, so I do not really have any real questions to ask him about class and I don't want to play dumb just to talk to him. I think he might be attracted to me too because, as lame and delusional as it sounds, I feel like we have some weird connection... (he has my favorite photograph tattooed on his arm… a really strange coincidence) ...Sometimes I think he notices me or is looking at me, but that is probably just my wishful thinking (both classes are 200-300 people each). I am really shy in general and I already have a hard time talking to guys who aren't "off limits." I just want to know how I should approach him and attract his attention.

OK!!! So for the past couple months I have been dating this girl whom I met on myspace . We are both in our mid twenties. On our last date she told me she is not seeing anyone else, invited me to church, wondered what she is to me, etc. I think I might have inadvertently given her the impression that I was seeing other people, though we have never really talked about being exclusive (she did tell me she doesn't make out until in a relationship and we make out though both our profiles still say single).

So suddenly everyday since then I am getting 1-3 friends requests from attractive, single girls our age, mostly in my area. The vast majority of these girls have been on myspace for a long time.

Do you think she is behind this?

To all the so called English teachers some of us have more important things to worry about than a misspelled word. I just got off of a 3 day mission were people were shooting at my buddies and I. Some of us over here get on the computer to get away from reality. So if I spelled a word or two wrong than tuff ****, I have more important things to worry about than that. So sit in your warm house with all the comforts of home and think about this. My buddies and I have to put are asses on the line so you can do that. I am proud to be I the military and to serve my country!

I work with this girl.

She shows me all the signs of being interested in me.

(clumsy around me and stealing glances at me. the whole eye contact game, shell look at you then look away really fast because she thinks I noticed, and MOST OF ALL PLAYING HARD TO GET sometimes)

I TRIED ASKING HER OUT COUPLE OF TIMES. BUT DIDN'T WORK (BAD TIMMING)

I'm not really open with her/ not really close friends. But we talk for couple of min at work.

I am 21 and still living with my parents. I have two jobs available that I can take, one two hours away, or one 14 hours away. The further one would be the better to gain more experience towards my intended career. The thing is though, I don't want to leave. I feel that if I leave, and something happens to my parents, be it illness, money problems, problems with my siblings, even death though I don't want to think about it, I wouldn't be able to be near enough to help them get through it. And if I stay, then I feel like I would be letting them down by not pursueing the one thing I enjoy doing in life. What could be worse? Being so far away that I wouldn't be able to say goodbye, or not making them proud by not following my dreams and letting them down again. I tried moving out of state before and became phsyically ill with homesickness and had to return home. Even two hours away would cause me to be very homesick, but staying here and letting them down would kill me. What should I do.

There's this guy (he befriended me here at Y!A) and we'd been chatting & it's really cool. He says he 17 (11th grade) - so to get a better idea of his "temperament", I analyzed his profile - all his Qs & As. What I read confirmed my earlier suspicion - this is not a high school kid - he could really articulate his thoughts well and his grammar is definitely an A+++. So I asked him straight --- "I don't think you are in HS...more like 23-24...why don't you level with me?" He insisted he is in HS. So I tried another tactic - I started using big words - and sarcasms - and figurative speech even - AND still he would understand me and was very quick with his retort. And yeah, rarely did he ever spell a word incorrectly. Weird, huh? Another thing, this guy's favorite topic seems to be cheerleading...really weird!

So, what do you think of this guy? High school or not? Please don't go into the love feelings angle - that's out of the question.

I have a prob.My common law husband and I have been together for almost 15 years.I am 31.I am thinking about leaving because of his son.You see, he has a 16 y/o that is currently in juvie.This kid has always lived with my husbands mom and knows no discipline whatsoever!The problem is that when he is released next week,he must be release to my husband only per the judges orders.I DONT want him or his problems in my home.He is also a bad influence on our five other kids.On top of that,he is just another head I have to support because my husband does not work.I must say though that he does the laundry,dishes,yardwork and runs all my errands for me but no money coming from him.This kid has stolen large amonts of $ from me in the past and refuses to follow the house rules.My family thinks I am being unfair to him and tell me that I will never find such a man like him just cause what he does around the house(basically everything).What do you think?

My boyfriend and I have a very close relationship; we are each others best friends. Were in college and in a long-term/long-distance relationship. Recently I have taken up competitive ballroom dancing. My dance partner and I work well together and started winning competitions immediately. In the beginning I developed a little crush on him but it was short lived although, my dance partner is very attracted to me. He knows I have a boyfriend but that doesnt stop his efforts. I told my boyfriend about my crush, my partners crush, his frequent visits to my dorm and his attempts to take me out. I tell my boyfriend everything so he knows Im not hiding anything. But I know my boyfriend gets jealous when I talk to him about it. I want to stop hurting him and making him feel worried. Should I stop competitive ballroom dancing? I just want to make things better. I love my boyfriend too much to hurt him by staying near someone who obviously wants me and will try his best to get me. What do I do?
