I have never asked a guy out but im interested in the answer!
BUT to be helpful a couple of my friends have.
the first one basically knew for sure that he liked her so she made him a burnt cd with all his fave music, put it in his locker and somehow the last track was like will you go out with me or something like that...im not sure how all the details were..but along those lines
the other friend was taking a risk..she asked a guy who she wasnt sure if he liked her to one date...and then let HIM ask her to be his girlfriend. that way she knew if after the date he didnt ask her out then it meant he didnt like her or that he was a major wimp!

I was already pretty sure he was interested in me, because he'd been flirting with me for a while, but he never took advantage of any of the opportunities I gave him to call me or ask me out. Finally, I got tired of the whole game. I liked him and wanted to get to know him better. If he was also interested in knowing me better, I thought we should go out. If not, I wanted to know so I could close the book on him and move on. So one day, I just went up to him and said, "Hey, do you want to go out with me or not?" He said yes and we went out for drinks and that's how it all began. We've been married almost 15 fantastic years now!
