OK!!! So for the past couple months I have been dating this girl whom I met on myspace . We are both in our mid twenties. On our last date she told me she is not seeing anyone else, invited me to church, wondered what she is to me, etc. I think I might have inadvertently given her the impression that I was seeing other people, though we have never really talked about being exclusive (she did tell me she doesn't make out until in a relationship and we make out though both our profiles still say single).

So suddenly everyday since then I am getting 1-3 friends requests from attractive, single girls our age, mostly in my area. The vast majority of these girls have been on myspace for a long time.

Do you think she is behind this?

It is possible. She may be testing you. . . I would just make light of the situation and tell her, "you know, SO many girls have all of a sudden started messaging me since I met you! HOW FUNNY!"
It is also possible that they are her friends, she has spoken highly of you, and they want to know more!

who knows, I think on myspace your profile randomly pops up in stuff. Because even though I'm not active on it, and am listed in a relationship I'll randomly get a bunch of emails from local guys wanting to add me, it seems to go in spurts then nothing for a long period in time. That's my experience with myspace at least.

You could try asking her or have a defining talk with her, letting her know how you feel or making it clear that you see it as an exclusive relationship. What your describing seems more a tactic for kids, ie middle school or hs. Either way good luck on your relationship!

Think? It's almost a given that she is. This is between the two of you but if you are both mid twenties then you both are getting well past the age to be playing games like this. At some point we become an adult and leave the games of our youth behind us. Don't think I would be considering a future with someone like that but once again that's just me.

While possible, I have a myspace account and I am constantly barraged by women who are good looking in the 18-25 y.o. category. The problem is the webcam girls will always harrass anyone they can. So, here's the question you ask yourself. Do you see any of these girls hang out with her? If not, it is probably webcam girls and not the girl or her friends. Don't lose any sleep over it and quit thinking so much. Overthinking in any relationship will cause problems.

Are they friends with her on myspace? If they are then maybe. But you should be alright if both your profiles say single. Even after they say taken, you should be okay if the girls are just friends. Be careful though, in what you say and do. It could turn the relationship around instantly. What do you think of when you think of the girl? Girlfriend? Fling? The more you know...

Maybe. Anyway, you say you're in your mid twenties...all of this sounds really childish. Confront her if you really would like to know. Don't assume because it could just be coincidental. If you like the girl, tell her you'd like to be together exclusively. If not, let it go...because the games could ruin the possibility of anything good coming from it.

I would not assume that she's involved with your other contacts. But if you feel supicious, chat back with them but leave your conversation open. Don't give out to much information and try not to talk about the same stuff to each girl. Try not to lie, because you will get caught, if it is a trap.

And then it could just be coincidental.

Maybe. If you really want to go out with another girl, try the other website instead of myspace. And to be very sure, go out with her enemy. That way you can be very sure that she's not behind it.

She could be if she acts jealous. Its pretty strange that thats been happenning since that conversation went on. Try asking her casual questions like do u know a lot of people on myspace? etc.....
