it is to the mother of a 23 yr old girl who died of cancer after a 5 yr battle. The daughter was beautiful and strong. I didn't know either well, but i knew them and wanted to send a card, but didn't want to sound too weird...any help on this? thanks

Ok here it is.... My BEST friend ever said she was going to the city so she couldn't hang out today. I thought ok. At the end of the day i called my other friend, Steph, to see if she wanted o go bowling the next day. She said can Nicole come? She's over so i can tell her right now? i said" wait a sec she said she was in the city?!!" (dramatic pause) "Umm...shes not at my house shes comint to my house after the city." i was yeah uh huh ok. My ex and i were together for a long time but it was long distance and the whole point of the relationship revolved around him moving to be with me which he told me he always wanted but he broke it off 2 months ago.. now i am getting pressure from everyone to stop feeling sorry for myself or holding on and being told to move on. I want to move on and find someone who makes me happy but i keep comparing them to my ex and bc im doing the online dating thing when they ask to meet i freak out and i stop talking to them only to be on the look out a couple weeks later and do the same thing. Dating is hard when all of ur friends are girls! Guys i speak to assume i've had sex because they find me attractive (don't mean to sound up myself) and i feel really embarrassed and ashamed that I haven't before. That was something i only wanted to do with my ex we were so close i think he ended it cuz of the distance and it hurts like hell knowin we could be happy and together if only he took a chance

I had a big crush with this girl who used to work during the holidays up to mid January. Since she left i have this shooting feeling in my chest everytime i walk into that place ( a retailing store). i might seem childlish but I cannot stop of thinking about her, every place, every department ( we worked together during inventory time all around the store) and even some of the music that they play in the store reminds me to her. Is like being in a torture chamber for like five hours. Please dont make fun of me, maybe some of you have been in the same situation. I try to keep my mind busy focusing on my job but that works only for a short period of time. I dont think another girl like her will come and make me feel the same way since Macy's hires old women mostly.I've been thinking i should start searching for another job because unless i get out of there i wont be able to forget her and move on. Please help it hurts so bad.

When you describe a house/flat...

Are the following statements correct?

"There is one bathroom" "There is one bedroom"

I know that it's better to say "There's a bathroom" but is it correct if after those statements you follow by "There are two living rooms..." etc.?

I found a text message in my boyfriends phone that said " are you mad at me baby" to a phone number i did not recognize and it wasnt stored in his cell. Of course I confronted him and asked him and this is what he told me. he has 2 jobs on the side he sells perfumes and clothes and etc and desperately needs the extra money. He said he met this girl while he was out and she bought from him and she said can u give me a ride home (it was at a bar) he brings it out with him. (i know cuz ive been there past times) anyway he never ended up driving her home, and left her there. so a few days later he text messaged her that .. so she wouldnt be mad and continue buying from him. he didnt even know her name and he said she was 45 and hes 24.

i cant seem to stop thinking about it. weve spoken about it so much and he said it was innocent and he has made an improvement since. i just get mad cuz he likes to go to bars with his friends , which i do the same. any advice please

by the way when he was telling me he seemed sincere about it and ive been with a year and 1/2.

that weekend it happened i didnt speak to him the entire time because i was mad he went out with his friends instead of hanging out with me when i asked him to hangout with me and he said he was tired. ( he really wanted to go hangout with his friends) so i didnt speak to him that monday .

this happened 2 months ago i brought it up again and still he denies cheating and that he would never text someone that again and he has shown improvement but now i question EVERYTHING he does

ok, there's this really cute guy that i obviously like. the problem is that i don't think he likes me.;(i established the talking to him part. or at least kind of. i called his house to see if he was there, but his dad or someone said he was gone. he said he'd tell him to call me and now i'm a nervous wreck cuz my parents don't know i like someone! especially my dad and i'm afraid he'll call me and my dad will pick up. i'm scared half to death that my dad will think i'm messing around with boys. i'm about to cry now cuz he doesn't understand. i think i have a strategy to get ian (the guy i like) to talk to me though, but i'm not sure it'll work cuz my legs get weak and my heart starts pounding. i know he's just another person but it's different when u like that person! anyways. just plz give me some advice. i'm scared/sad/i guess worried. but if you have any good advice to this plz let me know! i'm 13 and having problems.;(

At work I have to deal with this complete gentlemen. He holds the door for and lets me go 1st. He does this for all ladies at the job. He goes out of his way to say thank you to me all the time I have to help him out with something. He needs a lot of help (lol) Sometimes I think we didn't meet by accident like it was fate. At times he teases me making subtle comments like "I like stripes 2" when I am wearing a striped shirt. It embarrasses me but I like the attention. He's been married 22 years and I have been married 16 years. His wife wears the pants. I know he enjoys the occasional flirting we do. He often makes comments his wife puts him down. I always give him a unhappy face and he smiles. He has never ever made a pass at me. One day I put myself down and he got all over me about it. Should I offer my advice to him and probably lose him as a friend too? By the way he's a Gemini she's a Sagittarius and I’m a flirty Libra. As long as he doesn’t make a pass is this ok?

My boyfriend and I are on a very rocky road right now. Three weeks ago I confessed and told him about something I had been lying about so things aren't very nice. He's been treating me like total crap lately and it really hurts but I'm willing to put up with it I guess. I'm just so confused is all, one day we're taking a step forward and it seems like things are going to get better, the the next day he's back to being rude and taking many steps back. So what am I supposed to do? Do I break up with him because he's rude and it seems like there is no chance or do I stick with it and see what happens?
