It happened again last night. She would say "higher and to the right" or "a little lower" and "to the left, more, more, more to the left".
By the end of the evening I was frustrated and exhausted. Why does hanging pictures on the wall have to be so difficult?

Was she like that before you married her??? Well sorry to say but people don't usually change .If it bothers you that bad you two really need to talk about it before it turns into something more. You have to meet half way in marrage. You both have to be willing to compromise on things . If you know that shes anal about certain things than maybe this is an area you should compromise for her.

I guess she could also say, "Why do you have to be so demanding about sex?" Then hanging those pictures on the wall won't get you down anymore.

I know what you mean. I was in bed with my wife last night, and I kept kissing her stomach while saying "I love you". All she said was "lower, lower." I tried to go lower, but my vocal cords were starting to hurt. My voice just isn't that deep.

My wife is the same way with Christmas Lights. I guess they are perfectionists. It does get annoying at times.. Good luck.
