It seems a lot of marriages end in divoce b/c of problems having to do with children in the relationship. Did having children make you feel closer or more distanced from your spouse? Do you love your children more than you love your spouse now?

I have liked my cousin's really good frriend for almost 3 years now. I am about to turn 17 and he is going to be 20 in october. It used to be just a crush, but its grown to him always being on my mind. He seems like he make like me at random moments, but only for a few, and when the moment passes its like im one of his guy friends again. But then again, I dont even know if it is a moment. Another thing is, He is still in love with his first love. He has their prom pictures on his wall and a photo of her on his phone wallpaper. They arent going out, but they are jelous when the other has a new "friend". It makes me sick when I think about telling him how I feel. And I really dont want to be rejected and never hang out with him again. I could really use some advice. Oh and by the way, he lives right down the street, on the next corner..maybe 4 houses away. hehe.

I started talking to this guy in August of 06, and we hit it off right away. We talked nearly every night, and there was a strong connection between us immediately. After a couple of months of chatting, we expressed attraction to each other, and all was good.
We spent an amazing holiday together (Thanksgiving), I went to celebrate with him because otherwise he'd be alone and I told him I wouldn't allow it. It was wonderful. However, we fell suddenly out of contact because the s**t hit the fan in his personal life, so I let him deal on his own.
Now, a week ago we spent 6 hours on the phone. He spent most of the time telling me how amazing I am, and how he was scared to lose me from his life because of the BS. He admitted to feeling as strongly about the situation as I have been feeling. Yet, now I'm scared he doesn't want to be with me. How does that make sense? I tell myself it isn't easy for guys to say those things so outright, but it's no real comfort. What to do???

She broke up with me a couple days ago. we had a 2 1/2 yr long distance relationship. for the past 2 wks i was displaying jealousy. She told me the primary reason was the circumstances. Im in law school and she works. the distance between us is 2 1/2 hrs. She also told me she loved me but there was no spark anymore. I have a feeling her friends influenced her decision. i will give her a month of space and not contact her. I believe she still wants to be with me, but she has to come to that decision on her own. I treated her better than any of her previous boyfriends and prob better than any future boyfriends. I thought i was going to marry her. I want to let her know that that jealousy was only a temporary thing and that i will not let it happen again. i have been sitting around and thinking about jealousy and how irrational it is especially when you 100% trust the other. I want to tell her but do not know how. what should i do about thinking her friends influenced her?

I need to tell my mom that I am dating a guy, my age, my school, nothing out of the ordinary. I have never dated a guy before, I am in 8th grade. It is nothing serious, we have not even kissed or anything. He just puts his arm around me and we talk and stuff. She thinks that I really want to get revenge on him for some weird thing that he did a while ago though. I have no idea how to tell her that I am going out with someone! ok im a 15 year old chick that has never had a boy friend. i used to like this guy (A) but when i found out he didnt, i forgot about it. during my christmas break i met another guy (B). i was sooo happy to kno that someone did like me. but something kept on telling me that he wasnt the one. and something kept holding on my feelings for guy (A). i couldnt stop liking him. now that January came, guy (A) broke up with his girlfriend, and now he tells me how me missed out on a beautiful and funny girl and he wishes we can get closer. one problem, IM NOT ALOUD TO DATE! ive known him for almost 2 years. i kno him MORE than guy (B). guy (A) he tells me he LOVES me. he tells me he'll wait for me, even though sometimes we get really inpatient. i love him just as much as he does. he really demonstrates how much he loves me. but now i dont kno wat to do with guy (B). hes sweet but i dont even kno him that much but guy (B) also says he likes me. i found out it isnt always with the first guy u c.

my friend[Him] & i started not to talk anymore when he had a gf[also my friend who knows my feelings for my friend"Him"] since then i started ignoring them so i could finally move on.. but i dont know if i did the right thing.. he tried to talk to me but hes making it harder for me. then one of my trusty friends talked to him.. and noe he said that he felt bad for what he did and he even said that he wudnt went out with my friend if i dint ignore him in the first place.. but well i had reason why i did it.. he ignored me and left me hanging there and just flirts with other girls.. him & i were like much more then best friends.. and now i dont know what to do.. i tried to and im still trying to just move one and let go.. so please anyone help me... any good advice?.. i wanna fight for what i believe in but then i dont wanna see him get hurt bcoz of me i want him to be happy. im willing to sacrifice just for him to happy.. sound ridiculous.well i guess its just me.. srry if im tooo corny

Lately, a friend admitted that she had feelings for me. But when she said it it was indicated that she "had" feelings, meaning it was from before. She said that I used to love you but not anymore because she saw the real me. Anyway, do you think she is still expecting me to say something? What is the fairest way to do my will. I have 2 kids for a previous marriage. I sold my house with a profit of about 85,000. to build a new house with my partner that had nothing form a previous marriage. I even helped him pay off his debts a 5,000 credit card and payed 7,000 towards a car in his name which i drive. My partner has 3 kids that live with his ex. I want to do the right thing by my kids if i should die, any suggestions.
