German - Ich liebe dich
French - Je t'aime
Japanese - Aishiteru (very rarely said); Suki desu (I like you) is more common.
Italian - Ti voglio bene (among friends); Ti amo (to a lover)
Spanish - Te amo
Kiswahili - Nakupenda

provided that we are doing words, i'm uncertain "abused" is strictly real. as a results of fact "love" has maximum of meanings and usages that's open to misinterpretation and confusion on the area of the receiver besides as, confident, mis-use, with the help of the author or speaker. C. S. Lewis wrote on "The 4 Loves", working from different Greek words that should all be rendered "love" in English. in spite of the incontrovertible fact that that's slightly unrealistic to desire that maximum folk will save on with your precision in Hebrew or his in Greek. it must be the term that suffers maximum from being ill-defined in English, yet others have the comparable difficulty: God, faith, solid, evil... superb extensive words that folk can pour their own content cloth into, and then be shocked while human beings do no longer seem to hearken to what they have stated (as a results of fact the hearer or reader has utilized their own content cloth to the term.)
