Mine is kind of like a rollercoaster. It has its ups and downs. I am assuming that normal and the norm.

What is yours like?

It was the same. Everyone has their ups and downs with parents. But you know the feeling of love they have shown and in return you feel for them is strong. So much that you are finding that you are right about things they will not admit to because its mom and dads rules and thought processes and you are willing to let it go. One day they will be gone if it were tomorrow would you be sad? If the answer is yes extremely they did their job. They have given you a good life in which to grow and be loved so in return you can love. Record your conversations with them at times save them one day they will be priceless. Here's a good starter hit record and say I love you mom and let the chips fall where they may. Life is an adventure.

Mine is pretend. Alot on my part. Pretending everything is good and happy. I live with my mum as my parents have just spilt up. My mum comes to me for everything emotional. She treats me more as a friend than a daughter. My dad on the otherhand has never really been there. He would take us out once a month and that was all we ever really saw of him. He never spoke to us he never told us he loves us. He has never told me hes proud of me. So if it was one of my parents writing this they would say its great but honestly its not that good.

Well, i don't know why but my whole life i have always been "one of the guys." i get along with boys alot better then girls. So my relationship with my dad is alot better than it is with my mom, but both relationships go kinda crazy sometimes.
i either love them or hate them.
what i have been going through lately has showed me that family is more important than i ever could have imagined though...
so try to keep them close no matter how bad they piss you off :]
