No. That's a silly reason. That's not only letting them win, but you're trashing your future because of losers that aren't worth it. Your career or what you choose to do in life should be your main goal. If anything, you should've told someone or avoided them. The principle, I'm sure, would have done something about it. I don't think that's a good reason at all. I got picked on for a long time, and I never ONCE considered not going to school. That's trashing your future and letting them get away with ruining your life.

It's time to see the Guidance Counselor, Principal or Vice Principal. No one should have to put up with any teasing. Teasing made me the tough old bird I am today. You could say that I'm resilient. Don't ever let anyone else's negativity or stupidity keep you from accomplishing a goal. I've been told many times in life how I would never succeed at this or that. Well, look what I do now! I had an Art teacher in high school tell me that no good art school would ever accept me. I went to "Art Institute of Pittsburgh". Didn't finish though-got married.
A high school English teacher told me the poetry I wrote was copied from somewhere. She was sure of it. It didn't stop me. Today, as a volunteer with children at the Library, they hear my own original poetry and love it. Now get movin' chic. Life is great and you really need that high school diploma.

Why would you do that to yourself? Switch schools if you have to, but finish. You need that degree to have a good life. People who put others down are EXTREMELY INSECURE. This time in your life will make you a stronger person. You'll be just fine. One year out of high school and you'll realize this person is and will always be a loser. Don't cheat yourself. If they are physically hurting you, call in the police. If it is verbal, you can choose whether or not to let them hurt you. You have the power over your own mind, not them. They're just jerks and will turn out losers.........guaranteed.

I thought about transferring schools or dropping out because I got picked on so much when I was younger. But then it means they won, because they got to you and it wouldve been no benefit to me at all. Starting all over making new friends, screwing up my subjects...not to mention my future would have gone down the drain.

But people finding someone to pick on, thats so natural in high school. It sucks ***, but it happens to so many kinds of people for so many reasons.

Ignore them, get back at them, whatever, but dont drop out.

Nope. But the people there were a huge burden . Where popularity is everything and they all have their little cliques and s hit. Hated the people in high school. But I dropped out just because I just couldn't do the work, i had to repeat 10th grade three times and by the time i was supposed to graduate and i was still in 10th grade i just said f uck it. =/

I didnt, but i can totally understand. Some people,(intending no offense) are just more sesitive to certain things than others. In this case, this situation really bothered you enough to not want to be in that enviroment, although i would just changed schools or something.

That is the dumbest reason for trashing your future that I ever heard.

Um no. That would make you stupid. Good job on giving up and letting 'them' win. They succeeded....and apparently I will be paying for you out of the taxes on my HARD EARNED paycheck. THANKS!
