There are girls who I see around campus sitting and waiting around between classes. I'm not sure if they're single or not, but I'd like to chat with them and possibly get their phone numbers. I'd like to know a friendly way to approach them and strike up a conversation.

Tell her she looks familiar and ask her if she is in one of your classes. Then when she says 'no', ask her what classes she takes. But it is still easier to chat with girls that actually take the same classes as you.

Best way to do it is get involved in a club or something,its alot easier that way
just dont join some dork fraternity like sigma chi
