I have a co-worker that put me in a very unethical and unprofessional position today. She is not only my co-worker, but also a friend outside of work. The situation that she put me in could have gotten me fired and after a long, & sad day, I decided that I needed to inform my manager. I guess my question is, what would you have done? Again, the situation goes against a contract that she signed as well as my companies code of ethics. I feel terrible because she is my friend, but also feel like I had to cover my ***....

We have two little ones, girl and boy, ages 6 & 5, who want to play t-ball. My husband coached our son last year and didn't take our girl serious when she said she wanted to play tball this year. Dilemma is that team is too full to add another player. My husband decided that it wouldn't be fair to let our son play and not our daughter--it was his fault that he didn't take our girl serious and signed her up. So, my husband decided to take our boy off the team and accepts that we would wait til next year to sign them both up. I am proud of my husband's decision to not choose our boy over our girl. But, the rest of the family, my husbands' father and brother, have thrown a fit. My father inlaw lives for our little boy and doesn't see why our son has to be punished for our mistake of not signing up our girl--my husband stands firm on his decision that if he can't coach both of them on the same team, then neither would play. While everyone else sees it as unfair--we agree that this is the best thing. is this the best decision, or are we wrong?" in Yahoo! Answers

I have liked this guy for a really long time. From the moment we met in 5th grade when he sat down next to me and we introduced ourselves. I am now in 8th grade and still like him. I still like him though!!!!!!!! People said he used to like me in like 5th and 6th grade but I didn't go for it. Well now I am in middle school and we don't have any classes together. I can only see him in the hallways and before classes start in the morning and during lunch but he sits in a part of the cafeteria I do not frequent. In 5th and 6th grade we used to talk a lot because we were in the same class and I was somewhat his confidante. He used to talk to me about almost everything. His favorite TV shows, music, school, etc. I really like him and my friend said that he brought up my name totally randomly earlier this year on their bus and asked if I liked him or at least used to. My friend said yes I still did. My friend likes a totally different guy by the way. We have a lot in common. Flirting tips???

I moved to a boarding school 5 months ago. it's an all girls school so I knew it would be a warzone. the thing is, people are constantly making fun of me. I have two "aquantinces" one does not seem all that interested in being friends, and one is UNBELEIVABLY annoying. anyways on to the real problem. it is a tiny school, about 15 people in my grade. about 2/3 of them all join together to make fun of me. at first it was not that bad, it was just your average middle school preppy girl teasing, but is has become this terrible, uncalled for, unbeleivably rude thing. I have done LITERALLY NOTHING to these girls except make a few come backs that I do not mean to be rude in, but may come off that way, though I have stopped saying anything remotley rude so that they would have less of a reason to bother me. It is REALLY hurting me. I have glasses and braces and unmanigable hair so I know what it feels like to be made fun of, but I have never been treated like this before

I have been going out with this guy for about 2 weeks now and I like him a lot! I usually don;t like to snog or hug him because I don't really find him to be that attractive.. :( This makes me feel REALLY bad. When we go out I always notice other guys.

I do like a lot but he's not that good looking so I feel bad whenever I think about how much he likes me

Should I brake up w/ him or no?? I just wanted to know wot some random people thought out there

Am I a bad person for even thinking about it?

I asked a girl out in the end of seventh grade...we went out for about a month and then we lost contact over the summer...i am a freshman now and i want to ask her out again but i dont know how to. i normaly use one way to ask a girl out but i used it last time...i am all out of ideas so can someone please tell me a creative way to ask her out...not something to sensitive and says spend the rest of your life with me because i just want this to be an icebreaker so that it opens us to more in the future...after a date or just a night together then i think i should get more sensitive but what should i do for my situation. I would like really creative ways to ask her out because i am coming up blank here.

Just wondering what men around 35 have in common with women around 25?

2007-02-28 10:13:11 · 11 answers · asked by Lady 1 in Marriage & Divorce

I always generally thought it was women who "felt" the most for their partner first. And the guys were the ones that would distance themselves for a while.

Why is it with me I'm always the one that doesn't feel as much as the guy feels for me? It's been like this all my life, maybe I just hadn't found someone who I liked?

Are you the one that falls first??

I hate the idea of my man working around so many women, but I am getting over it a little. He has the same feelings, though he says he would never get involved with a co-worker, it something that I have seen to many times. Husbands cheating with women on the job, Wives cheating with men on the job, and single couples aswell.

Why do people leave their familes for a co-worker??? I know that you will be attracted to someone you work with, but why do people take it that far (sleeping together, and leaving their familes, etc.)

She did not like me, but with time she realized that I really liked her. After A year and seven months we have had our arguments, but on Sunday I told her that I haven't been feeling the same with the college right around the corner. I had her finally, she told me she loved me she looked at me and cried because she was so happy with me. I felt like that at one point but when she expressed her feelings I was scared. I couldn't respond the same way without lying. After telling her that I didn't feel the same way, that something was missing she cried and told me to take two weeks to think about things. After an hour I was ok and told her not to worry about anything. Then on Tuesday I was being mean to her and she got mad. She told me to leave her house and I did, on the way home she told me that she had enough and that she didn't want to talk to me anymore. The next day I bought her a diamond ring and she didn't accept it, after she said no she told me that she realized she didn't love me

there are less and less available females to go around in the united states. the ones who do want to marry many times are fat, have feminist beliefs, and are careerists who make for unstable marriages. what are men to do about this situation? stay single and use our hands, become homosexuals, or take foreign brides?

I've asked so many questions on here but I love to hear others views. Me and my ex of 7 years broke up and he moved 2000 miles away..Well, he moved before we broke up..I know there isn't another woman. I am pregnant with his child and we are very young...22 & 23. We had our wedding planned before the baby. Dr. said I would never be able to have kids..my ex wanted one and I ended up getting pregnant. We wasn't trying because of what the Dr. told me. He was very excited while I was kind of depressed because I wanted to be married and have my degree. Now, I wish he comes back and I know alot of people thinks that is stupid. We had a pretty good relationship, His father walked out on him as a baby. He tells me he misses me and loves me but picks stupid fights..Does distance really make the heart grow fonder?? I told him last night we shouldn't talk until we clear our heads..Has this every happened to anyone?

We made a deal, that I would take care of his 3 dogs and on our 10 year anniversary...(in 8 years) I would get a 2 carat diamond ring and I would give my orginial engagement ring to my son when he wants to get married. The problem is his 3 dogs have trashed our house tearing into the subfloor. Chewing electronics, etc..it's so much. I also have two children and I feel like I am taking care of 6 children my husband included...Is it really worth it?
