We're getting married this summer and he keeps wanting to pay for things that the couple getting married doesn't usually pay for...groomsmens tuxes, his friends hotel rooms, drinks from the bar. He wants to gift his bestman with a drumset. He wants to feed the DJ and the photographers which not only is expensive, but it also takes away from our guest list.

On top of all this he wants to spend 10 minutes max taking photos between the ceremony and the reception cause he doesn't want everyone to have to wait to eat (even though we're having hors d'oeuvres walked around by waitors and a piano player during the time they're waiting and socializing)

My parents are paying for the wedding and even though my fiance is planning on paying for all this extra stuff, my parents are still offended because they're paying for this really, really nice wedding and he wants to spend all this money on craziness (instead of helping with the wedding or honeymoon)

tell me i'm not going crazy...

He's old and alone. He has hinted that he wants to come live with me and my family, but I wanted to hear the Pros and Cons from people who have let their elderly parents move in with their families. Especially if you have children, how did they react or adjust? I have one in her 20s, 19 year old daughter, and 14 year old son.

Do you not realize that there are STDs out there that you can catch by sticking your penis into a bunch of lowlife cheating jokers? Just because she said she loves you doesn't make it true; because love is action, and if that were true, then she would not have cheated on you, or be cheating on her new boyfriend with you! She would respect you more to let you move on and find yourself a good woman, or better yet, let a good woman find YOU!
Why do so many of you lack a healthy self esteem to be fine and dandy with being single for a while? Is it that you are so desperate for a woman you are willing to let women use you up like Tampax so you can say you have one?
Why do you come on Yahoo answers thinking one of us will validate behavior patterns of one with a low self esteem? why can't you figure it out for yourself that a cheating woman will always cheat cause he knows she can?

ok. this guy i really like doesnt talk to me on aim anymore or at school. we just tell each other wat is for h/w.
and he talks to my best friend and he doesnt evn have any classes with her, while i have 6 with him.
i think that i am jealous of my best friend.
please tell me why you think he doesnt respond to me on aim or why he talks to my best friend whose last name he doesn't even know...

I am mum to 2 children, Joshua who is 5 and Natalie who is 9 weeks. My partner is the biological dad to my daughter. I am finding his mum to be very over powering and I am scared of her. She says stuff to my boyfriend about me like "I am only happy if my side of the family sees Natalie" I have no transport and my mum sees my kids when she comes to visit, my partners mum moans about this yet she makes no effort to come over (she has a car) and she doesnt even live in this town.

I have a fear of answering the phone incase she is on the other end as she gets drunk and goes on and on at me - all of this is causing problems with me and my boyfriend

I need some advice as this is getting me down - can any one help

I have a friend who is in an unhealthy relationship. This guy has almost killed her cat on purpose, beat her dog, and random other animal abuse. Now they have bought a house together and the other night he came home drunk freaked out on her called her insulting names and destroyed their bedroom. Anyway he got arrested and she bailed him out...and of course the apologies started flowing and he asked her to marry him, she said yes as long as that doesn't happen again....I've been in an abusive relationships so I know it will happen again. Is there anything at all that might make a lightbulb go off in her head to leave him? She know how we feel but I hope there is something we could say that is so profound that she get it...can anyone help??

We have been seeing each other for 3 months. We talk on the phone atleast everyother day and we go out atleast once or twice a week. Things have been moving very slow with us. He actually only kissed me for the first time the other day. I dont know wether he is just shy or what is going on with him. But anyway, I want to know where this is going or what he is thinking. We have not said anything about us being a "couple" but I have met his mom and he invited me to his nieces birthday party with his family so I it feels to me like we are more than just friends but I dont like to assume anything!!! So basically what I am asking is how shoud I ask him where this is going or what he is thinking with out scaring him. I dont want him to think that I am asking for a commitment I just want to know if there is a possibility of there being one or if he wants there to be one. I'm just curious!! I would describe my self as distinct from parties. Intelligent. Fun, goofy, shy!! Smart, I have very good mental. I have a love for alot of things. I'm interested in so many people, places, and things in the world. I would like to achieve more in life. I like being with my friends. I have a good relationship with my mom. Ok I've been married for 3 years me and my husband have been having some problems financially (he wasnt working) and also comunication was a really big problem with us. So I started seeing someone eles( for about a year). I really enjoy this other persons company, so I decided to leave my husband for him. Well I havent been "living" with my husband for about 5 months but of course I still see him (sleep with him). My husband wants me to come back home but I feel like me and this other person are a good for each other we comunicate great and he is a good provider (hard working) and we have had some great times together. But I feel if I move back with my husband we will continue to have our on going problems like we did before. Even though he swears to me that he is a changed man. Should I give my husband a second chance or should I just continue my on going relationship with this other person. I love them both I need serious help.....

I have been dating this guy for a couple of months now and he acts like he is a very sexual person wants to fool around alot but never wants to have sex. Today during work we were given a free hour. The guy I like (who also happens to be the teacher during that work period) gives me a special type of paper to draw on during that free hour, and only me was given one, since he said I was a artist (which is true) and the others weren't. Well he left with another group and told me he would be back to see what I drawed on it. So that time comes, he asks me if its done yet, then I show him and he likes it, says its cool. Then he leaves. I see him in the hallway but he doesn't interact with me. Near the end of the day he is in the computer room and I sit near him. He talks to me once, telling me that hes gonna get me to help paint something, and he'll teach me painting techniques, and he winked. I said I would, and eventually he leaves.

well this weekend i went to a hotel with one of my friends and we were hangin in the pool and there was this cute guy there who kept smileing at me and watching me and he came to talk to me and he was really cool and stuff! then today we kinda talked but he was busy with his little brother u know taking him on rides and stuff and well he was going on the silde and he smiled and noded his head up and down! wot does that mean and later when i was leaving he was going to his room i said hi and he gave me a look like who are u i'll that was differnt was that i had my glass's on and that i was in reglur cloths wot does that mean too?

My mom is going to have major surgery, and at the same time my sister to going to Costa Rica! My sister is a good for nothing person and hardly takes care of her children now. She has been with her boyfriend for only 6 months and he doesn't even have a job to help play for the trip! My mother is outraged. My mom is going to be heavily medicated (they are going through her skull) I refuse to take care of her kids (I have two of my own) While she lives her life without her own two children. I will have to take care of my mom (because my Dad will be driving over the road).I refuse to take care of my two children, her two children and my mom. What should I say. She says she doesn't want to bring her children. I say then you can't go and she blows up! What kind of person does this to the sick/elderly? My mom is 60 and she takes medication for high blood pressure, she is partially deaf, and many other problems. I don't care if my sister and I have bad blood. What can I say to make her think?
