Watch the Kevin and Perry film, you will find it to be an informative documentary rather than the comedy it was intended to be. Laugh at him, not to his face but to yourself to keep your self sane. Remember that you hate him and are only here to ruin his life and whatever goes wrong in his life will be your fault (according to him anyway). Other than that you could swap him with someone elses child who is also doing the same to them as they always seem to be so nice and polite to other people. Good luck for the next 6 years!

He may get all the ideas from school. Boys at that age think its cool to be a pain. And plus they start to go through that stage from 10 till 16 years old. There is not much you can do about it. He is just testing his boundaries. Just let him know there are some things he cant do and be firm with him.
Good luck

Check his diet. It is well known that a diet high in sugars can give a high like a drug hence the boisterous behaviour.
Experiment when you give him processed foods and monitor what happens.
I think 10 is a bit young for puberty, but not unheard of. Growing pains!.
