So there is this girl who I met the other night, through a friend. We went to the movies, dinner, etc. The real first date is this Sunday. I've been texting this girl since the other night, and she doesnt seem that interested, even though her friends say she's really excited.

Why is it that people can't be honest or upfront about their intentions? And when you are, you scare someone off?

At the beginning we just had a regular friendly conversation, then he got more friendly and I will admit he is quite a hottie and very nice. But last night he went against what I told him and called my house and my mom got really mad, I guess he just wanted to speak to me in person, cause we have been talking since Christmas. I think some people get it wrong when they say "Nice guy". I'm a "Nice guy" probably cuz i was brought up to respect everyone. On the other side of things, I'm adventurous, risky, kinda dangerous(to myself at times, motocross racer), and like to please my woman sexually before myself. Just cuz I'm a nice guy doesn't mean I'm boring. What's your definition ladies?

so i always give my boyfrend cards in special ocassions... he always likes them. But His birthday is tomorrow and i gave him a card yesterday with his present. When he had to leave he was in a hurry. n he left the card i gave him...... n today he said sorry n he sent me a lot of txt messages sayin that hs was really sorry n he calld me to say sorry too............i was mad n i told him i wa snever gunna give him another card n he said he was gunna b really sad if i didint give him another card on his birthday like i told him... I married my husband kind of quickly. We had a wonderful relationship for the most part. I honestly believe in my heart that I do love him. At the very beginning of the year I found out my ex was letting a girl move in with him and I broke down. I know he was doing it to move on from me. I went into a very depressive state. I went to seek counselling as to why I was reacting this way, my marriage fell apart...I am now back with my ex living with our two sons there, we have a good relationship, we really do. But I caused a lot of heartache for a lot of people. I don't know if I made the right decision, but my bed has been made. I still do love my husband, but there is not reconciling, the divorce is in the works. He tells me he still loves me and just wants for me to be happy...so did i do the right thing?

Okay i have been in a long term relationship for over a little over 6 yrs now.When i met my Bf it took him 3-4 months for him to convince me to go out with him(it was college).The first two years of our relationship were on and off.Finally our relationship became stable and has been pretty much ever since.Now have a 3 yrs old son together.I have to be honest we are opposites on a lot of issues he is more outgoing/i am shy only like to go out occasionally, I like things clean/ him not so much, I like to go out to fancy places/he would prefer not, he has more common sense/i am book smart,I like to read Best sellers/he rarley picks up a book,i am girlie with a tom boy side/ he's a mans man and i am driven about work/ he is easy going.Only similaritys we have are easy going personality's, love of cars, paintball, similar movies, and similar family values (our son).Do you think we stand a chance if we get married?I really do love him ?

The other day I tried to get my husband in the mood and he was clueless. I popped his underwear quickly and rolled back to my side of the bed. I did this a few times. I know most people do but
1. He is not my minister- just marrying us.
2. Formal wedding so it's $100 per plate at the reception.
3. The church we are getting married in- kind of "sells" weddings. I was baptized there so I want to get married there. It's a small historical church and we already paid $1,400 for the use of the church which included the minister's fee, the organ player, the runner, candles and parking attendant.

I don't attend this church, I picked it because I love how it looks and I was baptized there and it's in my hometown.

I honestly wasn't even thinking of inviting him until a friend said something to me about it.

My girlfriend, who was the love of my life, ended our relationship just about 2 months ago. We're both 18 and we have to see each other every day at school - I went through a stage where I was so heartbroken that I couldn't speak to her, and everyday I HAD to see her at school. It doesn't make a break-up/getting over somebody easy.

She wants to be my best friend still, but I only want her romantically. I can't help but feel angry towards her that she ended our relationship, and I am still devestated that she could of done it to me. There was no real reason.

Anyhow, I am just not doing very well at handling the situation and I need some advice. I find it so hard to talk to her or be nice to her. But she has hurt me, and I am not over her. I still love her. She wants us to be "best friends".

What do I do?

I am soo terrified of India, please don't get me wrong.
The story.
My nani (mums mum) got engaged at 6, married at 12. She loves telling everyone, but I don’t see the fun side of it. Sorry. How can this type of marriage be real? At twelve, can you truly understand the meaning of walking 7 times around the fire? At this same age, my nani couldn’t cook (which is apparently the end of the world for some) and her mother-in-law wasn’t too happy. Unoccupied in the kitchen as always, she was cooking and suddenly caught fire, suffered six degree burns and woke up from a coma two years later. The scars are still there. Why can’t people let children be children? So you see this is why I am so petrified of the country. I am 22 years old and I am so glad this is not happening to me.

Does this still happen in India?
