My husband is into drugs very heavily for almost a year now. I want a divorce, but since I do not work (I am looking and have resumes out now), and haven't, I am afraid that some idiot judge is going to give him custody of our children.

We had a high income before he lost his job, but they would not qualify it as drug-related, even though it was common knowledge that he was using.

Other than family and some friends and a few bank statements, I have NOTHING to document his drug use. Nor do I know how to even go about this and what I would need.

We have been friends for years, and we have become closer and closer in the last few months. I told her I liked her but just wanted to remain friends for now. She said she wanted our friendship to grow, so I let it grow. Now, we are really close, and she wants to know all about me. She also sharing things with me. Why is this?

do you tell that person about it and invite them out? or do you not say anything? I feel like if you invite someone to celebrate your birthday, it speeds up the relationship. Any thoughts?

My girlfriend broke up with me because of age difference. I'm 20 and she's 25, but when we first met she said that she was OK with the age difference. Now, she says she isn't. Is there any way I can convince her the age difference doesn't matter?

a year ago i ran into this guy and we instantly clicked. The problem is this guy is mutual friends with my brother and my x(my x and bro r best friends)when i ran into this guy i was still bitter about catching my x cheating,he was sweet and listened and understood,he drove me home that night,he told me there was a'guy code'and he was hesitant to breaking it,but i invited him to stay and he did,i asked him to sleep in the bed w/me,he did,i asked him to put his arm around me,he did till i slept,he was so sweet.I saw him 2 months later and he came to me and said"your killing me"my x was there alos and freaking out that we liked eachother.10 months later now,i called him and told him he was eating me alive,he said feelings are mutual and he had no idea thats how i feel. The problem now is he has been dating someone for a month now so i told him to tell me to give and let it go and he said he cant because im so beautiful. What now?

I have been with my boyf for about a year thinking that eventually he would tell his family of me . . . now he doesnt think this is ever a real possibility (too difficult) and we have sort of split up. I think if we were together longer, perhaps he would be prepared to tell his family one day...... hes understandably confused and doesnt know what is best...

Should I, or not?

I am a private floral designer who's specialty is wedding flowers and decor. I own my own home based business in Central Missouri and offer my brides a custom experience when using me as their wedding day florist. I have been in this business for 10 years. I am always trying to find new ways to serve my brides better and I have a couple questions.

#1- Which would you be more in favor of, a florist who can meet with you in your office or a cafe on your time for no extra cost, or a florist that ownes a store front space that requires you to meet with them on their time?

#2- What is your budgeted amount for flowers at your wedding? This helps me get a good idea of the average budget for weddings in my area!

Thanks!

my mother inlaw and i used to get along ok but i have now been told to F*** off by her. She chose to divorse my husbands father for a man 20 years her young wich she shares a very unhealthy life with, they argue fight and beat each other up, i continualy ask her not to call my house with her problems she gets my husband so reved up and im the one who has to calm him down. Im afraid he will set out to get his mothers boyfriend and may loose control ending up with a criminal record or even go to prison. We both work very hard for what we have and i dont want to loose what we have. Am i being too harsh in saying that my mother inlaw is a huge attention seeker and lover chaos in her life she makes the choice everday to stay with him so am i wrong to tell her not to call my house with her self inflicded problems?

If a guy barely speaks to a girl but always looks at her. Does it mean that he likes her but is shy? He talks to other girls, but seemed kind of nervous the time he talked to me.

I Really like this girl, and She knows it, we have hung out a couple of times in the past and we always have a good time, However I just feel as though I'm being used. When she needs a ride to a school I always say yes, When we hang out I always pay for her and her friends I know I should because I'm the guy and I want too and I sent some flowers to her school for valentines day to show her that I like her and she did say thanks, however is she taking this as a sign that I'm too nice and that I will do almost anything for her, should I play hard to get? or should I keep doing what I'm doing? I think she likes me but I'm not sure if she likes me the way I like her or is she just using me? my family thinks I'm being a pushover and kind of being used, But I really want her to like me and it feels as though this is the only way to keep her interested in me. What should I do?

thanks

I would like to know what people think about this problem. We all want to be independent in life, be it social or professional or personal. Whenever our independence is compromised we feel bad. Now a marriage requires dedication, effort to make it successful (from both partners). That means they both MUST make compromises in the form of spending time and energy both willingly or unwillingly for the sake of family. When one is forced to do that unwillingly that is really unfortunate. For example many promising women leave career to look after family. Or when they continue to look after both family and job, probably they have to work harder. In general what is the best way to deal with the problem? Is it possible to achieve bliss without feeling bitter about lack of premarital independence?
