I'm 17 and she's 15.. For Valentines, I wanted to do something for her... I wrote her a letter with glitter pen and made it really special. I snuck it into her backpack at school. She read it and she said she loved it. Last Friday.. A female friend of mine was asking her about her valentines.. and she says in front of both of us.. "sucked"

Here I am writing her a letter (something I've never done for any of my other girlfriends before)... We've been together for about 5 months. I feel used by her and unappreciated.

I have no idea what I want to do.. Do you think I over-reacted when I just left the group and went home because I was so hurt?

Do all of you have PHDs in the social sciences? If not, who do you think you are to give advice, ( if it can be called advice ) which could be potentially harmful? The chances of someone submiting a question with ALL the TRUE facts concerning a relationship is slim to zero. I've read my wifes questions she submits and she makes me out to be a monster! I admit I'm not perfect. None of us are. Your answers are always the same, " Dump him ", " Leave the SOB " etc. I can be a very caring and loving man but not when I am continually belittled and insulted. I come home every night to the same verbal bashing as the night before. I may deserve it once in a while, but no man can withstand a never ending barrage every single night. How does a women expect us to feel any desire for romance or sex after this? Perhaps we should all take a long hard look at our selves in the mirror before we pass judgement on others. Thanks for letting me vent.

Ok me and my fiancee are planning to get married in October. I have no clue what i should do about his dad and "stepmom". They dont like me. They dont like him living with me. His "stepmom" even called here, kicked him out, got him fired from his job of 9 months, Told him the only reason he is moving in is to get me pregnant! and to top that off, a car he had bought for 850(nice cavalier) which wasnt in his name yet and was at their house for a couple weeks after getting kicked out (cause his dad said he had to have it in his name and license plates befor ehe could move it) THEY SOLD! For 400 just because he supposedly "owed them money!" Well the last time we were over there, they completely ignored me, didnt get so much as a hello not acknowledged at all! They dont support us being together one bit and think he is making a big mistake! i have no clue whether or not to even invite them to the wedding, i want my day to be shared with people who support us. My fiancee feels the same.

If my husband still goes out on all-nighters when he is 30, will he continue to do this as he gets older? When will he feel like slowing down? Why does he feel the need to do this, we have a good relationship. Is it just boredom?

I heard it gives you monkey butt, fireazz, and really horrible BO.

Is it true? I'm scared of going to the local indian restaruant because I don't want to have that lingering aroma emiting from my pores for the next 3 days.

I heard women really love curry and it encourages cheating due to the "aroma".

Guy's, how many of you would feel comfortable getting into a serious relationship with a 23 year old virgin? Lets say there's nothing wrong with her, she beautiful, smart, has all her teeth... she's just scared to engage in sexual activity. Serious answers please.

Lately, it seems, everyone (including bi women,) are totally into Asian gals. Now I like them too, but what makes them special/different from other girls?

Do you feel expecially attracted to Asian gals? If you do or don't do you feel the phenomenom is just because Asians are a more recent addition to the dating scene and a newer experience? Or what?

Recently, my husband and I travelled to Paris. His sister and niece had used our apartment while we were away. We have a spacious apartment and I thought it would be fine. We have an extra guest room, which I prepared the guest room for them before we left. However, I found out that they slept in our bed. I specifically asked him twice if they would prior to our trip, and I said it was okay if his niece wanted to. She is 10 years old. I also asked his mother and said it was okay if his niece slept there. I made my point very clear that I would not like it if his sister slept there. However, when I found out, he said there is nothing he can do about it.

I feel slightly violated and as if I have no say in the decision making process regarding our bedroom. I feel that our bedroom is a very private. We have ample space and felt that they could have slept in the guest room.

Am I being unreasonable?

Hey everyone. Well, once again I've managed to fail terribly in a relationship. This time the girl says she's not ready for a relationship and has made it a good friendship but it's not going to well. It's been a week and she still feels awkward and won't walk to me and when I text her (and I haven't done it often) she doesn't reply. How long am I supposed to stay away from her for before this damn friendship thing ACTUALLY becomes a friendship?

My GF's kids are misbehaved, loud and sloppy. The don't listen either, she lets them misbehave. I told the 8 year old boy to bring me a can of beer and he forgot. I had to slap him around in front of his friends to wake him up. Why can't she give them a few "wake up" beatings?

The girl is clumbsy and walked into my cigarette and burned herself. I told her to pay attention. Maybe now she will.

It doesn't pay to date loser women stuck with kids. There are plenty of single ones with no kids looking for a good time. Shouldn't these women with kids just stay home, clean up the mess, stay celibate and not date?

Why dont women go for the nice guys?
we have all the qualities that would make us perfect partners, except one - danger.
i mean, do women really want to be swept off their feet by dangerous men, only to be hurt and dumped, beaten and humiliated? u women really enjoy that? u'd rather have sex with all these men, then have a good healthy relationship with a nice guy?
and they say men are the ones that think with their other brain.
women! wake up and smell the coffee!
there is no prince charming. there is no ultimate man.
there is just normal good guys out there that u are ignoring, while u s l u around with no good loser types. i tell ya one thing, us good guys, comes a time when women cant keep their hands off us, and it's called settling down and kids thanks to the biological clock. and by then we wouldnt want your used up a s s by then anyways. right guys? that's right. so women. wake up!
and stop saying crap like u need to be hurt before u realize the truth.

Oh, it's the age old question: how long to wait to call a guy before calling him or forgetting about him? I met a guy on Wednesday (Valentine's Day). We exchanged numbers, so I guess either of us could call, huh? However, I'm a bit old-fashioned and he said that he'd call....
What should I do? Today's Sunday, so it's been about four days. Do those rules still apply: "he should call within 48 to 72 hours; if not, he isn't interested". At first I said, "I'm too old for the game...." Now I realize that I'm not!
Help!

I work for a fairly big corporation with the average age being 40+ years old. I'm 23 years so I'm the younger one in the company. There is this cute receptionist at my work and she is 21. Should I go for it? I'm working professional and she is a receptionist so I dont see what can go wrong if it doesnt work out. I dont work with her on projects or even need to interact with her

I'm 20 yrs old & my partner the same. We've been together 5 months. My parents met my partner about 2 months ago & they thought he was ok. I come from a very strict asian-european background & this was a big deal for me. We recently got 'promised' to each other- its all a blur as everything happened so fast. No I dont know if I want to marry him/or marry at all as he is not working but says he is looking 4 work. When i was LOOKIN 4 work I found it in 10 days coz i was LOOKIN. I also am attending university and I get alot of pressure from parents to 'hurry up and marry'. Most people I know marry between 16-18 so its as if I am GETTIN OLD. But I guess growing up in UK has made me european & I dont know if I even want 2 marry & If i end the relationship I know he will be deverstated as thats all he wants TO MARRY ME & to me that seems like a very sad goal in life. And also my family will be in horror-shock. Surely I should KNOW that ITS HIM, if I dont then thats a bad sign isnt it? dnt knw
