It really depends on what you like to do for fun.
I loved New York for being so culturally, and intellectually diverse. Also, you get good workouts without really trying, and points of interest are relatively close to one another. Great restaurants, and you can find things to do @ 4:00am for us night owls.
Los Angeles has pretty great weather most of the year for outdoor activities, Snow in the mountains, the beaches, and so much to do in between. A major car culture, low riders started here. You NEED a car to be here and commute, Dependent on freeways (yuck) but drivers are not as scary as NY (still a lot of jerks though).
Both places have great museums, good nightlife, tons of activities for you regardless of what you're into.
Don't know them til' you've been there, why do people give opinions about places they've never seen or visited before? Such ignorance....

For living LA is beter and for Business NY as the infrastructural facilities are more in NY.

Better for what? Id take L.A. any day simply because California has the best weather to live in. N.Y. is a nice place to visit but.....
