Yes, but everyone experiences things differently. You have a choice to look at the day in a certain way. I learned when I was in the hospital for 8 months paralized, that there were people worse off than me. Being thankful for the little things that people take for granted like being able to walk on rocks in the first place is how I look at life now. Just when you think you have it bad there is someone who has it a lot worse off than you. Be thankful for the little things like being able to simply be.

I drove thru a green light and got hit by someone driving thru a red light. Totalled my car, broke my neck, and 4 years later I have to take Methadone 3 times a day for pain, and extra strength vicodin for when the threshold pain breaks thru that dosage. I can't walk more than 50 feet without doubling over, and that's if I can keep my balance that long. I have 2 plates in my neck and screws in my knee. I can not work. I have 3 kids that I can't do a lot of the things a father should be able to do with his children, like teach them to ride a bike, play catch, pick them up to hug them...

Everyday is a worse day for me.
Keep your chin up bud, it can be much worse.
