I just wanted to see what was up since this past week has been awkward and all and we really haven't gotten to talk. But that's kinda been bothering me and I guess that feeling is kinda unavoidable. I wanted to tell you that I like you a lot and I had a lot of fun hanging out...making out...whatever with you last week and I hope we can do it again soon. But I don't want you to think I want anything serious to come out of all this. I kinda had the feeling that's what you thought I wanted but hopefully that's not the case. I guess I wanted to get that off my chest before having to endure another day of awkward silences/stares.

He's a great guy. Very nice, very mature and patient and kind. However, he is overweight and (my personal pet peeve) has crooked teeth. Admittedly, both of these things are reversible. Is it possible to be happy with someone if you like them best when your eyes are closed? (And vertical)

When relationships go sour and their are kids involved, whyu is it that the ex's bf/gf feel they need to interjecrt and put their 2 cents into business that is not theirs?
Let the parents work these issues out without them having to butt in and make the situation worse. My ex's trifling gf hollers in the background when he is on the phone talking to me about child support and visitation. He is a felon and has been out only half a year and he admiited he has relapsed on drugs and he has a nasty gf that always talks **** when he calls me. They can do whatever the hell they want to where they are but after I've been raising my kid for 9 years without his help, now he puts this crap on my plate and I don't want the drama. I wish he was still locked up it was easier to deal with than this mess.
But why do poeple do that? Btw, I also said my son will not go to that state where they live b/c she is unstable and so is he. Ex agrees. My son won't be a part of the insanity. Wish me luck!

I've been hanging out/dating this guy. We have great, flirtatious conversations on the phone, but in person, he doesn't talk much and he barely looks at me. there's this guy my friend was trying to hook me up with
he's good looking, smart...etc.she'd been telling him about me.
for the past couple of weeks my friend keeps bugging me to call himso she dials the number and i call him up and we start talking.
and he asks me simple questions about myself. after 15 mins i tell him i will call him back. after an hour my friend says call him hes probablywaiting on your call; and he was; he tells me he wants to see me and he'll call my house within an hour.but i dont pick up my phone til later so i callhim back he tell me when i get home call him so hell know when to come i gethome but i forget when i finally do he'd been waiting 2hours. finally i tellhim i have to reschedule we were about to start talking when someone else calls so i said ill call him back in a minute. i finally do and for the next 2 hrswe talk but mostly we are just asking each other questions. getting sleepy i tell him to call me. the next day which is today i see a number tthat looks like
his i call him up and ask him did he call me he said no. he sounded sleepy so
i said i'll call you back. am i calling to much is he waiting on my call

My boyfriend and I have been dating for 3 years and about 1 mth ago we were arguing over when we thought our anniversary was. I was still married, but separated when we 1st started dating we went out on our first date Oct. 10 which I consider our anniversary. I got my divorce papers Vday so he considers that our anniversary he said it made us official, so I went along with him. So with Vday just around the corner I got a lottle excited so I started making plans on getting a new sexy dress, tan , get my nails done all of the good stuff but all I could think about was his reaction and expression when he seen me all dressed up (which never happens I'm 22 a mother of 3 all ages 4 and under) So 2day I ask him 2 go 2 the mall with me 2 get a dress and he could get an outfit also but he said the most hurtful thing 2 me he said that I didnt need a dress the restuarant was casual it was just another day and he just made reservations at a friends restaurant because he got a free gift certificate

Lets say I don't want to say something that would sound rude or make the girl turn away from me.
It seems so hard to say something that would still allow her to want to converse unless I tell my age?
It feels like such a touchy subject.
I've learned to never ask a womens age even if she wants me to guess I still refrane and say no I won't guess your age.
I find that if I guess to old it's an insult or if it's to young it's an insult,If I would be right on with her age it would still be an insult.
So why do I have to tell my age?
I feel it's an insult why A women would want to know it.
If not for the same reason's I mentioned then I feel it's an insult for other reason's.
Does anyone else feel the same way I do?
Am I the only one that feels this way?

She gets extremely moody and mean a fews days every month and expects me to just deal with it - which I do for the most part.

I absorb most of the "blows" (not physical) without retaliating, trying to be understanding of her situation.

However, when I occassionally have a tough day and get irritable and short tempered with her -- she lashes out right back at me -- and sometimes ups the ante.

She doesn't feel that she should to deal with MY bad days, but expects me to deal with hers.

I think this is unreasonable, selfish (and, yes I have told her this) and that I am pretty much fed up.

Am I off base?

I am coming out of a 13 year marriage. it has been HELL to say the least.. he wouldn't come home after work.. drank every day.. smoked pot.. did pills.. was drunk the night our kids were born.. needless to say i have had enough.. so we decided it best to go our seperate ways now he wants to come back!! I don't want him to .. of course our kids do.. 2 days he hasn't drank Whoopie.. right.. now he lives in an old run down trailor with a kerosene heater we have a nice house.. he has crape.. I have tried.. i bought him all kinds of stuff.. now i get phone calls I love u! I am sorry I didnt appreciate you.. and so on..So why do i feel so bad? i just want it all to be over.. find someone who puts me first for once.. Help please..

ok... this guy and i went out but then went on "break" because we both made a mess of things, he had too much going on, and things just got too crazy. we've been best friends and even after everything we still are just as close as ever and we still flirt like we always have but i dont know how he feels about me anymore... i've brought it up but didnt quite get and answer. i thought things were done on the romantic end but then i told him that someone else asked me out (and that i turned him down) and he didnt seem to take that too well... it seemed to shock him a little.

now that i've told you the situation my question is should i give him something for Valentine's day? we have this inside joke about toostie pops so i was just gonna give him a bunch of them... would that be crossing a line or would it be alright??? i really need input on this one... any tips on the situation itself would be helpful too. thanks.

My ex broke up with me almost a month ago. (It was a total shock--he always talked about us getting married) He is now dating one of his friends that he met at work. It was not a nasty break-up, although he really didn't explain himself much other than there were a few things that bothered him and he felt our careers were going in different directions. I asked for a second chance as I felt we were strong and could make things work, however he said no. So, I decided to cut off contact. About a week ago, I txted him asking if we could be friends (I am friend w/ my other ex-b/fs--I think its silly to burn bridges). His reply, "yeah, we can be friends but not right away, i don't want things to be awkward and i don't want you to question what happened between us." First, how do I respond and what is that supposed to mean? Second, after another week of no contact, he txts me again asking how i am doing and if i heard about a job offer. Do I answer? Ok this girl that lives down the hall in my dorm went to the same high school as me. We never talked. In fact she told me that she used to hate me, becaues she didn't like my painting. To clarify I had a painting that was politicalys controvertial and it one first prize in my schools art commpotition. Now that I explained my point of view she has been very nice to me. We have become friends (more or less I think). I highly dought she is interested in me as anything more than friends. It is just that I get the impression that she is interested in me, but she is overly nice to just be friends (I think). She payed me to tutor way more than she should have. I refused to take the money the second time. She has gave me an extra cake that was left over from her batch she had to make for a class. Every time she proofs a paper for me she and her roomate seem to have to talk to me for like an hour about "life". Am I miss reading things or is it pocible that she likes me?
