My best guy friend bought me a Brighton bracelet for my birthday one year. It consisted of ovals with words on each like "love" "friend" "life" "happiness." It was so sweet and beautiful and somehow it fell off when I was sightseeing in NYC. I was upset for weeks and was too heartbroken to tell him I had lost it. :(

A blue diamond from my wedding ring!!! Also many years ago I lost a ring that was hand made from a high school crush. Sad indeed, but the truth of the matter is these are materialistic things that can be replaced by another purchase or a memory, it would be worse if you lost a relative or friend.

I had a Kachina doll that a Hopi friend hand carved and painted for me- we were in high school and we became good friends because both our best friends were BF and GF- so we ended up spending alot of time together while they were busy. It was beautiful- black, white, turquoise with white wings and a special designed skirt- I dont remember which Kachina it was but it meant alot to me and reminded me of good times we spent together - I think my ex husband took it when he disappeared,to hurt me because he knew it meant alot to me, but i cant be sure. I wonder what happened to it alot and am sad too. but i still remember my friend, Burt who made it for me.

Mine is not an item, rather I don't want to lose my goodness to fit into this world. I want to keep my morals. I want to help people without hurting them and it is hard to behave when answering questions.

my "NOW" braclet, jokingly stood for "never overestimate women" (something with my ex girlfriend) but it really meant "no opportunity wasted"
