I wrote to him
Hey ----,
I just wanted to see what was up since this past week has been awkward and all and we really haven't gotten to talk. But that's kinda been bothering me and I guess that feeling is kinda unavoidable. I wanted to tell you that I like you a lot and I had a lot of fun hanging out...making out...whatever with you last week and I hope we can do it again soon. But I don't want you to think I want anything serious to come out of all this. I kinda had the feeling that's what you thought I wanted but hopefully that's not the case. I guess I wanted to get that off my chest before having to endure another day of awkward silences/stares.
Hopefully, I'll talk to you later.
Peace.

His response:
Hey,
No worries, I had a good time too and I definitely feel the same way so... I'll give you a call some time? Or something, at any rate I'm writing this in like 30 seconds before I go to Mock Trial so, I'll see you in math.

PEACE!!!

i wrote this to him after we went on a date and things became awkward at school. like i said, i really like him but since we are both about to go to college in a couple on moths i didn't want anything too serious. but now i'm finding that i'm liking him more and more.

well, he told my friend that he didn't want anything serious...so i guess we're both covering our butts.

i mean, i wouldn't mind dating him exclusively...but i don't know how he feels about it.

Well why even bother going out with someone if he isn't potential? That seems like a waste of time to me babe. Maybe it was just a fling but according to his response it's saying that he feels the same way you do and the like is totally mutual. So you should definitely be happy. What's the worse that could happen? You have to go for it now, because ten or twenty years down the line you'll always be wondering "What if?" So go for it now while you have the chance. Trust me it's worht it. Good luck babe!!!!

Well, from the letter I get the impression that he's not interested in anything serious. He probably just really enjoyed making out with you but he doesn't want commitment. It's the end of high school- nobody wants commitment! It would be pointless cause you'd be tied down at a time in your life when you have the most options.

You'll need to give him time.

Right now he is either hurt because he wanted something more serious (telling you he feel the same way, may be a way of covering it).

Or he likes you and wants thing to continue the same way. As I say just give him time
