Lets say I don't want to say something that would sound rude or make the girl turn away from me.
It seems so hard to say something that would still allow her to want to converse unless I tell my age?
It feels like such a touchy subject.
I've learned to never ask a womens age even if she wants me to guess I still refrane and say no I won't guess your age.
I find that if I guess to old it's an insult or if it's to young it's an insult,If I would be right on with her age it would still be an insult.
So why do I have to tell my age?
I feel it's an insult why A women would want to know it.
If not for the same reason's I mentioned then I feel it's an insult for other reason's.
Does anyone else feel the same way I do?
Am I the only one that feels this way?

When people ask about my age I respond,
"Older than some and younger than most." And people either laugh or look at me with a confused look, but hey that's as close to the answer as they are going to get. I don't feel insulted at the question its just that I look and feel younger than my age and the times before that I have had to tell the truth I always get looked at like Im lying and I don't like that look too well.

You're probably not the only one but I don't agree with you. No one should be ashamed of their age, it's not an insult you should be proud of how far you've come along. Any woman afraid to tell you her age is in denial. You're a guy, why shouldn't you tell her an age, it's not an insult. I think the whole thing is immature and you're way older than me. If you don't tell her your age, no matter what you think, they're going to think that something is wrong. Either you're too old or too young, ironic isn't it? You have to tell her your age or else it'll never work. Good luck!

Ya I'm there to. I used to could. OFTEN. Unfortunitlly I got with a 18 year old when I was 38.
She left and abondoned or two sons with me. She did nothing but party and f**k It seemed to be her life ambision to run around and talk bad about me.
Long story short. I seem to be tabu because of my age.
People who dont know my age freek when they find out how old I am.
When they ask I laugh and say 23. If they persist and need to know I tell them the truth, as they say the truth hurts but it's the only way to be. I'll be 50 this April.
Once upon a time........
I fell in love and I think she fell in love also. We got along for about a month THEN one day she asked my sister how old I was. My sister told her and she freeked. She stated I was older than her mother. She wouldnt even talk to me after that.
This has happened several times in the past 3 years. I can't seem to move on with my life because of my age.
Although I have seen how people are age predudice I refuse to become a liar to get laid or falselly fall in love

I'M FIFTY FREEKIN' YEARS OLD, GET OVER IT!!!!!!!

you could always respond by saying: "I'll tell you if you tell me first". oh yea the guess thing is a trap. The best way out it is guessing inside your head and then substract five. That the answer you give, the one with minus five. Besides a woman will only ask you to guess not because she wants you to be dead on the money but more like if you can follow protocol....which is her age minus 5. hope that helps.

Just tell her what you told us. That's hilarious AND it's the truth.
You can't win if you answer that question.
I'm sure she'll find it just as funny as I did. She'll probably laugh.
If she does just quickly turn a butt cheek and ask, "Does my butt look too big in these jeans?" Then laugh and tell her you're just afraid she'll think you're too old or too young.

Women aren't as judgmental about age as men can be.
If she likes you, she really isn't going to care what your age is.

After all the kidding around, just tell her your age. You'll be fine. I promise. She won't care.

You may be one of the most age-obsessed people I've come across. I would guess that most others you come in contact with are not quite as concerned with whether you guess their age correctly as you may think. They may make a game out of it when they sense your emphasis on it, but all in play.

Just be honest with her, you can't go wrong. If she is asking your age because she is concerned with that, it is unavoidable and will always be on her mind if you try to avoid it.

It doesn't bother me at all if someone asks my age. If you don't want to tell your age just say, "twenty something" or "thirty something" .

The truth. Either tell her your correct age, or tell her you don't want to say.
