I want to split with my girlfriend of two years as this isn't working for me anymore (I'm 24 years). There's something in me that prevents from getting an interest in raising a family. When I was initially drawn to her, it just happened over what I felt was "mutual attraction". But, over a period of time, the novelty has worn off and the main issue, I want to avoid the huge expenses that come with starting a family of your own. To end my imbroglio, I took a lone vacation to Thailand this year-end and was more than happy with the enormous "flavor" that life has to offer when you're not in a relationship with somebody.

I've made up my mind to call the shots now, but I just wish to avoid the DRAMATIC consequences and the guilt pangs that could ensue after a split happens. I would like the thing to happen instantaneously so as to cause minimum grief to her - like I thought to put a Good-bye letter on her bedside, asking her never to contact me again. Is that a good idea?

A coworker sent me an email that I was too weird for him to be friends with because I was sending him mixed signals. We had been close for awhile and I told him it was best that we ignore each other so I can get over my crush on him since he already has a gf. Anyway during all of this, he suggested that the best way to get over him was to sleep with him. I thought he really wanted me because he kept asking if I wanted to do it. Then he told me that I should do it with someone else since he already has a gf. Of course, I felt hurt ,angry, and embarrassed since I told him things that I wanted him to do to me. A few days later I called him a dog via text since he jerked my feelings around, then I felt bad about it and wrote a letter apologizing to him. This is what provoked him to ignore me for the past month. A few days ago, he looked at me like he wanted to say hello and I emailed him asking him if we could just treat each other like coworkers and say hi. He told me I was too werd.

My bf and i have been together 1.5 years.I love him very much and we got engaged this christmas.Since we are both still in college also i am only 20 and he is 23 yrs old we are going to wait to get married till at least a year after we both have graduated.Why does he not want me to tell my parents where he lives?I know he lives in a trailer park with his mom but he is a hard working , smart guy, and he treats me really well.Whenever he is around my parents he cracks his knuckles, plays with his thumbs, and stutters a lot.This also happens when around my friends only with them he will start to curse and look down.Anything i can do to help solve this problem?

This is a messy situation, it all goes back a few years ago when i dated my brothers best friend for a few years,we lived together and i caught him cheating so i left him,it has been over a year since and he still is trying to get me back.About 8 months after it had happened I ran into this guy who is mutual friends with both my brother and x,he listened to me and was so sweet,he drove me home that night and i invited him to stay,i asked him to sleep in the bed with me,he did,i asked him to put his arm around me,he did till i slept,such a gentlman.he called my brother a couple days after to apologize and swore that nothing more had happened,and that he did not make any moves.Why did he call him,I feel like i was a mistake to him.

I'm sorry for those answered this question a few hours ago, but for some strange reason, yahoo wont let me log in.

This is not the kind of question that someone can read and say "right, here's what you gotta do", but I think your answers might help me, so plz put in your two cents.

I like this guy who's my housemate, but I'm not sure if I love him [i nvr been in any kind of relationship before (neither serious nor fun)].
Its not even his appearance that I am attracted to, its his way of thinking, his thoughts and the way he looks at the world and literally anything in this world. I adore talking to him. And, whenever, I am in the house kitchen, he makes a point to just hang around and start a talk (tho I, start by generally asking how his day was, which I ask everyone else too) and then we end up talking for like hours together (many a times till morning like 7ish)

my boyfriend and I frequent bars...except he go to a paticular one and only a few times has he asked me to join him there. We are only there for a few min. then we leave and go somewhere else. Or i will pick him up from there and then we go somewhere else but he spends a lot of time there with out me. And is it ok for me to just show up if he is there?

my son goes to see his dad every other weekend. well the problem is he dumps my 15 year old at his grandmas house while he goes to the bars on friday nights and plays in a rock band and then gets drunk with all his buddies afterwards. he even one time left my son home alone til 2 or 3 am during the time he should be visiting with him. does this father really love his son?or drinking and partying more? is he considered a good father to you?

the 4 year anniversary of my beloved daddy's death is coming up on the 17th. Been asking this girl out for months, she refuses to give me an answer. Last month she said to me If I didnt stop asking her out her answer would be NO.

2 weeks ago she asks me if I wanted to go on holiday with her, my kids, her kid and her friends etc. I said I couldn't afford it but would love to have gone.

Not heard anything from her for ages and last friday night I sent her a txt saying I think we should just be friends.

Just recieved a txt asking if I know what a horrible weekend she has had following my txt, wanting to be friends

But guys I do have to say that she is the most caring beautifull, sensitive woman I have ever met, who just melts my heart!!

Isn't there a service out there that will call you at work 3 times a day to tell you their feelings and to crab at you? Its got to be cheaper. Marrige should be a contract of lets say 5 years and you can renew it if you like.

here my problem my boyfrieornd will not do a thing for me sometimes i have to fright with him to do things. my g/f recently said that she wanted to break up with me because she felt like I was too controlling - that I get mad when she goes out with a friend for dinner (sometimes 3+ hours) - I worry about if she's okay and what she's actually doing for so long. we have talked and she says she loves me, I'm her best friend, loves the way she can be herself with me and loves the way I make her feel, asked me to hug (which I did for 10 minutes) and kissed me before she left. i'm confused since this is what most want in a relationship, right? also, she said that a guy she dated before me (a year 1/2) who she saw as a friend, kept trying to make contact with her and she said no, but a month or so ago she replied. she also has him as a friend on her myspace page and has listed that she is there for 'dating'. I'm very confused about what is going on considering as soon as 5 months ago we were talking about if I would move with her if she had to for work, if we want kids, kids names, etc.

I'm 18 wks pregnant by my boyfriend who until the mid Jan lived with me. We broke up then because he wasnt coming home or calling at night and was having a sexual TM relationship with some young girl. Like a fool I took him back, he said he loved me-sort of blamed his behavior on me which he always does, says it's because I dont communicate with him which is bull. So hes with his mom and dad now and sees me only when he has nothing better to do. He will say hes not feeling well, staying home whatever. He goes out, For anyone who's ever been cheated on you know it. There are loads of signs. Tues I know for a fact he was cheating on me. Last night he was pulling his staying in stuff and I basically told him I was tired of him making me feel bad, dont know why hes with me and i feel like a toy. He responds with of course you assume the worst&I make HIM feel bad.What do I say to him next time I see him to avoid having this blamed on me. I am not at fault that he's a cheater and a liar!
