Isn't there a service out there that will call you at work 3 times a day to tell you their feelings and to crab at you? Its got to be cheaper. Marrige should be a contract of lets say 5 years and you can renew it if you like.

Marriage is a joke anymore. With a divorce rate of 51% something has to change. It should be harder to get married and even harder to get divorced. Making it tougher to marry in the first place would weed out alot of doomed marriages from the start. It would also help to get rid of no-fault divorces and winner-take-all divorce proceedings.
When you get married, it's supposed to be for life. Why shouldn't a cheating spouse pay for breaking those vows?

Bad experience with a woman dude? I don't crab at my husband, we don't keep money from each other. We both are involved in the decision making, and I told him before and when we got married, that if he ever decides he doesn't want to be with me, to let me know. I don't believe in holding my husband hostage, being his mother and telling him what to do, nor do I believe in controlling the finances. Marriage is a partnership. Yes, there are ups and downs, but you have to be willing to work together.
That includes you - you can't expect to run around doing what you please like you did when you were single, expect her to take care of the things, and then expect her not to say anything because you were being irresponsible. If that is the case - you are the one who needs to grow up.

I agree. Some guys get married because they're too lazy to hunt for sex...then once the honeymoon's over they realize that their wife expects them to work just as hard at "the marriage". It's NOT a fun situation so if you don't want or need to be married, I suggest to any one...DON'T F/N DO IT.

no one say a guy has to, they just do. its better then being alone. But if your unhappy with yours. then you can always get a divorce. And it is a contract. for better or worse. if you can't accept marriage, then get out of it.

If that's what you think marriage is all about then you don't need to be married, it's not made for you. It'll be a lonely ride but hopefully you can muttle through it. Good luck!

you get married if youre in love..if you r in love, you'll want to stay with that one person for the rest of your life, you won't have the same feelings for any other person.
