Married 9 years, one beautiful child age 5. Before child, lots of cuddling, laughs, out together enjoying life. Since child, hubby ALWAYS wants to stay home in front of tv, never wants to get a sitter, little to no sex, too tired for conversation. Says he's not unhappy, just doesn't need the things I need. Says he's content pursuing his interests (reading & guitar) & just being at home. I am lonely, feel shut out & like all I do is take care of our child with him & am otherwise bored or trying to get one of my married girlfriends to go get a coffee or something. I have asked him to go to marriage counseling. He refused. I don't know what to do. We do NOTHING for our relationship. Sometimes it makes me want to leave him. How can I get him to get interested in "us" again.

I have had three dates with this guy and he said that he doesn't make a good boyfriend and he would understand if I back out. Is that a warning, or an excuse to sleep around? What is that supposed to mean?

We are six in our family. (2sons (23, 27), 2 daughters(20, 28), Mom + Dad). I have moved out of the house permanetly to study (in graduate school - I am the 23 year old). But my older brother and two sisters can't seem to get on with their lives. None of them are in school since finishing high school (except my older sister who stopped after her bachelors) They all work at dead end jobs. My brother owes my mother 6000 dollars, and refuses to pay her back, claiming he has too much debt. My two sisters have stopped talking to my mother and seculed themselves in their rooms. Everytime I call my mother, she keeps telling me she is worried that they will never be able to stand on their own two feet. The friction between my siblings and mother has resulted in constant heated fighting. I try to tell my mom to kick them out of the house and let them fend for themselves, but she can't, claiming it will be an embarassment, and the family will be 'disinhonored' in our community...what to do?

I don't mean like personality ( even though that SHOULD be what people look for the most) but I mean before you talk to the person, what do you notice first about him or her?

Then do you think it is ok to meet in person in a mutual place that is public, to get to know eachother further?

this is really hard for me but a few nights ago around 12:30 while i was lying in my bed..i heard my door open and i saw my father..he was drunk holding a bottle of whiskey he stumbled in..i asked him.."daddy whats wrong" and he started touching me..i said "daddy stop this isnt right" but he just kept going.so i said again "daddy no!" and he cupped my mouth and said" shut up you little b*tch im about to make you a real man" and then he proceeded to shove the neck of the bottle into my anus..while he unzipped his pants and shoved my head down on to his...thing...i started to cry and he started laughing he said to me..."your mother must have taught you how to suck" then he punched me and bent me over and started to thrust into me..it hurt so bad...i never cried harder in my life...i feel so violated..i tried to tell my mother but she wouldnt listen and nobody else believed me either they said something about how my father was a respected mormon church member and that im 34..please help!

After being married for two years and planning for a family at Christmas. My wife has been very close with her lady friend and had open discussions of her affair she has been having over the last 6 months. Her friend could not stand it any longer and told me what was going on after new year. I confronted my wife and initually she told me it was all lies, two weeks later she said it was all an imagination story. I have been trying to accept my wife's story and thinking back there has been some unualu incedents as she was covering up but I trusted her and never thought of anything else. Now I am caught with a depression and can't keep this up any more and for my wife who I have loved so much I can now only think of divorcing her and get on with my life. I appreciate feedback from other persons who have been in similar situations.

Me and my friend were going out for just under half a year we were friends before the relationship and are still now, recently me and her have gotten really close and i was kinda thinking about given me and her another chance but im now sure should i? The reason me and her broke up was because it wasnt working out because she wasnt ready because of her ex who she broke up with bad, me and her have started kissing even though were just friends (i.e seeing each other) and i feel as if we've grown close than anytime before should i try again? P.s are friendship has gone through the toughest things and were still really close

I'm a writer who has dealt with a lot pain stemming from child abuse -- sexual, physical, emotional, mental. I'm fine now..I walked out and am with my boyfriend (who by the way doesn't hurt me).

My question is, now that I'm gone...should I prosecute my mother, father, and sister? They have been abusing me for more than 15 years.

I'm scared to do this, but should they be brought to justice?

I've noticed a lot of the older couples that have been married for most of their lives that I know of, have died not far apart (maybe 2-6 months). My uncle died about 4 months ago, and about a week ago so did my aunt. She died of heart trouble. So my question is, are deaths after spouses deaths related or coincidence? If they are related, how and why?

At the funeral it was said, "The skin is weak but the soul is willing" the soul is willing to be with the spouse? Is this possible?
