the BF and I went to dinner. I thought on a DATE, we'd be together for the rest of the evening. After dinner, I asked him what he wanted to do. He said, "I don't know. I have to see what my son is doing." Uh, OK. He was fully willing to stop our date and drive his son wherever he needed to go - a friend's house, whatever. He's a GREAT dad and I respect that TREMENDOUSLY when there are so many bad dads. But is it wrong to think the BF could've told me BEFORE our date that it might be interrupted by his son's plans? If he'd said, "I can only be out until 7:30 tonight," that would've been OK. He does this a lot - even on New Year's Eve!

I dated a guy for two and a half years. He has my first love and I was his. We have been broken up for a month. I still want things to work but I know that it is important for me to move on with my life. We didn't have a bad break-up and he is a really nice guy. I just feel like I won't ever get over him. I feel like there won't be anyone like him. I miss everything about him. Any advice is welcomed!

I've been divorced since my girls were 2 and now are in college, they are twins, I went to great extent to get one of them working with me to keep her away from the people she was working with, drinking, partying, ect...and her twin over x'mas tried to hint to get her away from the place she worked because she had to take care of her, go get her drunk, ect...I called the owner of the pub, and told him I had called the abc board and they were watching him and letting 18 yr. olds drink and such. I told him she was not coming back...she thanked me, then I got her on working with me, great money, easy job, and not dealing with all the scums she went out with....but, she seems to think because she works for me, she can take off, show up late for work, sleep, not answer the phone ect. I fired her, told her I was cutting her off, wasn't paying her rent at college, and she turned it around making me out to be the bad guy. Am I wronge, I've disowned her and her twin.

He is 65 years old. Lately, the past few years he has gotten to where you cant throw anything away. He gets it back out of the trash. Empty tubes of toothpaste, empty underarm deoderant. Not only that he goes out and digs through the neighbors trash. If he sees a pile of junk sitting out where someone has cleaned out their garage/attic or whatever he has a field day. He drags the most worhtless junk home and clutters up my moms house with it, driving her crazy. He has brought home everything from old clothes to worn out furniture and old dirty matresses. We are even worried he is going through the trash getting food as he always comes home from work with "leftover" cookies and donuts he says that they gave him at work.
I have known several old men(70+) who were like this. Is this a common thing for old men to do this? Will i do this one day myself?

If a man is cheating and tells woman #2 that he sees another woman when he didn't have to confess because he never would have been caught, is that a sign of respect and that he may want a relationship or is it a sign that he cares so much about the first woman that he had to confess that he was involved. If the same man doesn't tell woman #1 that he is seeing someone else does that mean that he cares about her too much to lose her or just doesn't care and will eventually leave her anyway?

okay, i really did this unintentionally.

but this guy likes me and he know that i dont like him. and so he was like on AIM that maybe id like him if he got rid of his acne. and i dont not like him becasue of his looks i just dont like him, so anyway i said 'well, i dont think thats really going to change anything.' and he got really mad and signed off. so i kinda feel bad, but really i dont just care about looks and thats what i meant...so am i wrong for saying that?

I'm giving my boyfriend a ring for our anniversary and I want to get Philippians 1:3 engraved on the inside because I think it's a really beautiful bible verse. I'm kind of iffy about it because I can't tell if it's romantic or more about praising Christ. What do you think?

I cheated on my boyfriend just last week. I have over 12 boyfriends. They all loveme to much i cant break up with them! They are all HOTT. and they all love me WAY more. Also they all kiss me. Some of them i think were MORE than b/f and g/f. Also they all know i have 11 diff. b/f. Some of them have other girlfriends. I am a 62 year old widower and associate with women in the 60's. I am dating several women about my age. They seem as if they know everything and want to overtake whaever situtiation at hand with their "best solution" It is practically a command to do as they say. Am I just conscious of this because Ive been alone for nearly 5 years without anyone directing me, or is this something that really happens as women age and their childeren are gone, ie, they have this need to boss somebody around.

Biologic father is not involved but does pay child support. Currently his parents exercise his part of the divorce decree. We want to limit this because we feel the grandparent does not need to see them so much .

Let me elaborate futher on this , i am married have many female friends we do lots together like movies , concerts , sporting events ,and dancing i do tell my wife where im going and who with , so that im honest about everything my wife is not a social person so that is why i do have "girl-friends" all of my lady friends know im married so trust is not an issue they still go out with me its better if i go out with women rather than hanging out with guys my wife thinks that my so called gal pals think im probably gay so that is why they agree to hang out with me , it makes me mad for my wife to say that or even think that i am not gay or even close to it.. grrr!! it makes me very mad i treat all of my lady friends very nice and they appreciate my friendship always

My girlfriend and I have been dating for four months. She is my first serious girlfriend. We always talk to each other, go on dates two nights a week, and we are both still virgins. I really care about her. If she broke up with me, I'd be devestated. Lately, she has been showing less interest in me, and she even admits it. There was I point that I had no doubt in my mind she absolutely loved me, but now, that same love doesn't exist. I don't know what to do. Part of the reason is my family situation. She and my sister are the same age, and my sister doesn't like the fact that I have a girlfriend, so she bad mouths her calling her names and what not. Unfortunately, my parents side with my sister. I really don't know what to do. I am very sensitive emotionally, and if I lose her, I know I'll go into a serious depression. I have no other friends I can talk to about my problems. There is still time to mend my relationship with her. If you have any ideas, I am desperate to hear them
