It is possible for a married man to be friends with a single woman if his wife doesn't mind. However, I don't personally think it's appropriate to be going dancing with these friends. Your wife should be your best friend. If she is not and you crave other women as friends, maybe you should get divorced. This is not normal. You are cheating on your wife emotionally.

NO. if you're doing those things with your wife, that's okay. if you're enjoying other things with a bunch of single women, it's called cheating and you may as well leave the wife.

my now EXhusband did this to me and told the girls i wasn't social (which is very far from the truth). i also thought maybe he was gay, so i see your wife's point.

but, really, if you want to go out with other women, just get a divorce and see all of the women you want to, instead of treating your wife like that, take it from me. i've been in her shoes and i can tell you what....it really sucks.

I've read your other questions and it sounds like you really want to date other women or you want other people to justify your reasons for going out with them. You've asked a few times if seeing single women is cheating or not.....so why another question about it? You're obviously feeling some guilt about it.

I say get into counseling and figure out what it is exactly that you want.

You need to be careful, the temptation is going to catch you one day even if your not looking for it.
Your wife is not social???Maybe you need to be spending more quality time with her and treat her very nice rather than running the streets with all your girls. don't understand why you got married in the first place. As for the gay comments, You do protest to much......hmmm?

It sounds a bit unusual, but since your wife is not social, it sounds like you've found a good compromise. Trust me, most women can tell if a man is gay. Don't be worried, they know better.

It's a strange situation, most married men don't go out with other women, single or otherwise without the wife, unless they don't feel satisfied with what they have at home and most married women don't approve of husbands going out with other women unless they don't care much for what they have at home. You don't say what she thinks of your extracurricular activity but if it was me you would be single by now.

Listen.

You already know this, so I'll keep it short.

Women like to decieve themselves and say they can have guy friends. They cannot. We men have 3 lists in our heads:

[1] women we want to screw but haven't screwed yet

[2] women we have already screwed

[3] women too hideous to screw

And we do NOT "do lots together like movies , concerts , sporting events ,and dancing" with [3]'s, pal.

UNLESS they are f*g hags and you are their homotronic shoe shopping gay buddy, men do not have "lady friends".

But you already knew that. Stop lying to your wife and yourself - you have a wandering eye and a wandering pecker and pretty soon you'll be dipping it in one of those fillies in your stable.

. . . shoe on the other foot.

You stay home and your wife constantly "platonically dates" other men. Oh . . and did you notice . . how womanly she looks, will those other men notice her nice figuire? Is that perfume she's wearing? Did I say something off-key before she left the house? I hope she doesn't confide in him about my slip up. He isn't half bad looking. I hope he doesn't come on to her! She seems so happy when she gets back! She's obviously been laughing and feeling good about herself. . she doesn't respond that way with me. Hmmm, I guess I just don't do it for her. Time to make a change.

Get the picture?

I have many female friends. My wife has no issues with that. She knows I think the sun rises and sets on her.

You can if you want to BUT i do not think it is wise really.. Your wife should be your best friend and you can find alot of men to be friends with. I feel that she should also be friends with your wife. This seems really odd that she wants to to have girl friends instead of guy friends.

It is not a good idea for a married man to have female social friends
