Adding to my earlier questions: I have known this one girl about 3+ years and dated for a 1.5years. It has been a month now from seeing and living together to not seeing or even talking. I am 25, I met her when I was around 21. We had such a special connection only problem was an ex bf of 5 years. I dealt with it, trying to win her over and I did, but emotionally it left me a bit harder. So she also became harder. We got on so well, but we used fight over stupid things. I loved her with all my heart and tried to do everything right, but I guess she took the break up of her ex very hard. so what happened was that one day she met this guy when we were still seeing each other,2 weeks later after seeing him, she kissed him and ended things with me. It is really really dissapointing because imagine if she didnt have an ex bf that I had to deal with? Now i am the ex, and I just dont know if I can fight the fight anymore. Is it worth it?

I'm starting to freak out a little. I'm getting married in July and there is just endless things to be done that aren't even wedding related. Last night my fiance made some comment to me that "well that's how it's going to be from now on". This came after I was on the phone for an hour and a half working on getting new car insurance for both of us and having to spend the day now at DMV. It kind of seems like if I get married all I'm going to be doing is working, coming home, cooking, cleanining, doing "chores" with absolutley no fun ever again (not even being able to watch TV!). It's starting to sound just miserable. Is it just like this with the stress in the beginning or do you establish a more comfortable, less stressed schedule? any advice, comments, stories. Please let me know.

I'm a loner, possibly a loser, who has no friends. I'm smart, kind of a geek, and am incredibly shy. What should I do to increase my social interactions?

My wife and I got married and combined households. We had our own way of doing things but now that there’s 5 of us, things don’t work anymore. The house is a mess and we can’t seem to get it together to get things done. My wife seems to keep holding on to the way she used to do things and it doesn’t work now that she has a husband and some more kids. She’s getting frustrated and resentful I think of all the work involved being married and is fighting changing her ways. Every time I ask her to think about ways we could do things better she gets defensive and doesn’t even want to talk about how things could be better. She says she’s sick of me preaching to her like her father. However if she would work with me, I wouldn’t preach! Then when I try to take charge and say OK these things need to get done, she doesn’t like me taking charge even though she knows things have to get done. I’m thinking of just writing down everything that needs to be done and dividing them up and saying OK you do this each week and I do these things. I think it’s the only way things are going to get done. It’s like she’s resisting changing her ways and she refuses to accept things are harder when you get married. How can I get her to change her ways without being overbearing? Anybody else go through this power struggle and how did you work better as a team?

My friend got married in 1999 and has a sweet son of 2 yrs old. Last year she lost her husband in a road accident. She is not willing to marry. How can I convince her to get married again? She says, she had a very happy life with her husband and she does not want to loose those memories.

I feel, she needs moral and financial supports. I dont know how to convince her.

I have heard my daughter call me crying her heart out. She has been divorced over a year and half....both have remarried. Her ex has kept on and on involving their son into it....he is buying him cars, motorcycles, whatever he asked for, and then keeps telling him what all "she" took. She left with none of his money, a couch, chair, and a bed just to go.
He is worth probably a million dollars now with his job and property left to him, but she asked for a small amount...he wouldn't sign the papers if she asked for anything. She just said ok whatever I am gone. He has had affairs over the years but she had kept all this from the child to protect him from loving his dad ...Its so sad really, but like I told her Divorce is ugly, you can't make it nice.
He sent her a bill for $8.50 past due on insurance 1/2 on the son that he says is due....2 years ago!! I made a online draft payment with my online banking to send him 8.50 every month in hopes he will not worry over that again.

Hi, i am 29 and i used to take advance from women quite hard. Like get them to sleep with you in the first night and then disappear forever. Also make them fall in love with you, but never sleep with them. Also have several womens fight for you. I kind of enjoy it. Also make them pay, so they can stay etc. I was always looking for the borders of how far you can go with women. Since i am a good looking guy, women quite like to fall for it. But now my reputation has run bad. I met this woman and she is the one. But she kind of thinks i am gonna take advantage of her, because she probably has been warned. How can i convince her, that i truly mean it with her and that i am not gonna run this time? I also had a 4 year relationship before and i truly have changed. How can i convince her about my feelings? Are the women from way back trying to get back on me? Or does she simply want me for what i used to be years back?

Me and my husband have been together for five years and we have two beautiful kids. We love each other very much and we get along well, but the problem is that we cant get anywhere in life together. Were too wraped up in each other. We wake up and are so worried about spending time with the other that important stuff gets put to the side. What should we do?

We've been married 17 years. After birth of 1st child (15 years ago) I quit work to be a stay at home Mom. At the time he had a very good paying job. Throughout the years we acquired rental properties, land, etc. but it was ALL just in his name. Almost 3 years ago he was fired from his job (after negotiations they decided to let him "retire") and has no intent of looking for work. Since then I have been working full time plus doing all the Mom duties. I only make 1/3 of what he was making. There are many other problems. In addition he's an alcoholic. I want to get out of this mess, but what will happen to everything? As I mentioned there is a home, land, rental properties, checking and savings account as well as his pension. Again, everything is in his name only. The only thing with my name on it is a JOINT checking account that I opened when I started working almost 3 years ago. I can see now that I was really stupid in letting this happen. Anyone know the law in WI?

My boyfriend left for a survival course two weeks ago and said he would contact me after he got home, which should be two days ago. But he hasn't contacted me yet and I am getting worried about his safety.

We were facing some problems in our relationship before he left for the course and both of us decided to take some time to think while he was away.

I don't know if I should give him a call. I don't want to bother him in case he is not ready to talk yet. And at the same time, I am very worried about him cause he didn't contact me like he said he would. I even started to wonder if something happened to him.

Should I call him or wait for him to contact me? Am I worrying too much ?
