Family & Relationships - 26 January 2007

I posed a question yesterday in regards to relationship issues for a 53 year old man in love with a woman stuck in a house by her X-husbands money (an economic hostage) he is paying for the house payment, medical insurance and most other bills. She is unemployed and waiting on a partial disability settlement. She says that she is in love with me...but will stay in the house so she has a place to live. We are both in serious debt and frankly although I have all my love to give her and then some, but has most recently said that this had been a real reality check. My debt allows me nothing to offer her but my little 1 bedroom apartment.
I cannot move into her house while her X-Husband is paying the note and other bills, and if I were her I would not move in with me either. My delima is that we have known here 5 years and dating her 2 years. I am hopelessly in love with her yet after 2 yrs I still dont have her in my arms daily..nightly and forever. This all seems so hopless Pls help me!

I'm kinda enduring an awkward situation at work. One of my closest guy friends works at the same place as I do and I began to develop feelings for him though he has a gf. I told him I liked him and I felt it was best that we ignore each other for awhile so I can get over him. Anyway he asked me if I wanted to hook up with him, i said i did, but then he said i should do it with another guy I like. Anyway during all of this, I got mad at him for jerking my feelings around and I ended up calling him a dog, but then I apologized. The thing is I said all of this via text. The next day I wrote him a letter saying how sorry I was for how I acted, and that it was better that we treat each other as professionals since he has a gf and I need to move on. The thing is that he ignored me. So far, we've been ignoring each other for the past 3 weeks and now it is awkward and i miss talking to him sometimes. Whenever we pass each other, he'll look away and pretend I don't exist.

I haven't seen my parents, brother or sister for over 2 years. I have seen my mother once. My mom and I communicate through email sometimes - when important family things happen. My parents play games and they show a lot of favoritism. I couldn't take the hurt and pain of how they treat me and my family any more. It hurt more having them in my life than it does by not having them in my life. I'm married and have 2 grown sons and 1 son who's 13. I also have 1 grandson. But I still feel like a manipulated child when I'm around them and that is how they treat me. I feel sad about walking away and wish I could be involved and included. I've tried everything and nothing has worked.

My man (of 3 months @ the time) said he brought me all these lovely things for xmas...i brought him something and gave it to him...2 weeks later i still hadnt got my pres, so i got a bit agitated..he then todl me it was all a test to see if iwas a golddigger, and that i had passed!!!! i was so angry he thought i wanted him for his money...

After all that he aplogised, and said he would take me shopping. i refused and said "lets just not do gifts in the future"...anyway, it came to the day he woulda took me shopping and he said he wanted 2 go into town..

low and behold he brought me some expensive perfume (nearly a month after xmas!"

so my question to you is... (mostly men or woman who have been with men who play these games)

- why do men play tricks like this..and isit common?
- if a woman doesnt react what does that say, and vice versa
- and in my story why did he end up buying me something, isit because i didnt show care for it
- what other tricks do u guys do?xx

hes always logging on to this site where they put uncensored pictures of celebrities, good and bad pics.. and he loves that site, he goes on like twice a week or something..
its NOT porn or anything.. its just a gossip site where they put pictures of (for ex. britney's bare ***** when getting out of a car, etc) or like playboy models, etc...
it really bothers me and ive told him... but he still logs on cause he doesnt see anything wrong with it..

I have these two friends named "penDUH" and "cinderblock" and they're SOOO dumb! they're always telling bad jokes and putting tomatoes in their socks (seriously)! "Cinderblock" does this thing where she sucks in her face and says "hi im paul" to random people making out!?

So a few years ago, a friend of mine told me that I should learn how to play guitar because she thinks it's sexy. About a year later, I "inadvertently" (=P) decided to take a guitar course at school, and I've been playing for two years now.
