Their level of confidence (without being cocky), i.e., looking me directly in the eye, a warm smile, open body language, you know, positive signs of confidence. =)

Her personality. If she's friendly and/or witty, that makes me want to stick around and get to know her better. Since you said "a person", with guys, I'm usually impressed by the same thing but in a totally different way...of course.

For me it is the person's ability not to impress me by going beyond his nature. I prefer being with a date who shows genuine interest and not overdoing her actions just to win my trust.
We always want to put our best foot forward but it can be misleading.
One must be able to tell if the person is showing his true colors or just faking it.

Let me ask you this, what impresses you most about your customers? Of course, their money.
You want to spot the customer that has the fattest wallet, right? That's how you do your business. It's all about marketing & advertisement.
