A wedding cake topper. When I got married I couldn't afford anything, not even a dress. We got married in a park and I didn't have parent's anymore, and a wedding cake was the only thing I really wanted, but I couldn't afford the topper.Terry, from a place I used to work, had me look on the Internet one day and show her my favorite one. Three weeks later there it was. I still look at it and cry, off white lace with a blown glass heart and two porcelain doves. I love her for that, and for becoming my dearest friend.

I was having a very bad day!!It was raining, I was 'on foot', and I just received some awful news in my mailbox at the post office. As I was holding back my tears, a stranger (woman) asked me if I needed a ride anywhere since it was cold, wet, and I seemed upset. It was the nicest timing and I'm forever grateful...We didn't speak anymore on the way to my apt. and I never exchanged names.
