I have always been in drama filled and emotionally abusive relationships and finally I found a guy who is wonderful. He is great, we get along great, laugh together, cry together and love spending time with one another. But the only thing that boggles my mind is that I am not jealous of him what so ever. All of my past relationships I was very jealous and very insecure of the man leaving me. Now that I am not I feel like there is something missing in our relationship. Is this normal to feel this way? I want to spend my life with this guy but people say that you "just know" if he is the one.....And without these jealousy feelings everything seems so different and I dont know whether or not he is the one. During the infatuation stage I always thought he was. Now that everything is just comforting I feel like I dont know anymore....I want to KNOW that he is the one.....

Married 20 years, now divorced, my ex wife who's 40 left me for a 17 year old lad a year ago, my son is going to stay with her after a year without seeing her, I encouraged him to do so, she is currently hanging around with my sons mates male and female none of which are over 19. she shows no interest in older men.

Your brain controls everything you do... eat, sleep, read, watch tv, etc, right? Why can't we control what we are thinking. I like this guy so much, and I really miss him. I found out a week ago that I will never see or hear from him, ever again! It hurts so bad to think about. I have to tell myself over and over... never, never, never, because it is so hard for me to even grasp. I try not to think about him, because I am sure he doesn't think about me, but I can't! I feel pathetically obsessed, and I am not usually the type of person obsess over someone like this. Why can't I just push it out of my mind?

My husband had an affair and claimed it was over. I broke into his email and found out that he was still having the affair for 4 months. I found pictures of them together, read emails about her love for him and found emails from him saying he didn't find me attractive, and wanted to be with her. The emails hurt and I can not forgive him for what he said to her. He says that he didn't mean what he said and he wants to work on our marriage.

Then he acts suspicious sometimes and doesn't want to come over to the house. I am stressed out and told him that I want more money in the divorce (if there is one) and I want his stuff out. Then the next day I want him there again. But sometimes I break down and cry because of the mean things he said.

He has said that he doesn't want to hurt me and he feels obligated to make it work. And he said he doesn't know if he's tried hard enough. What is going to come of our marriage? Could we get past this without counseling?

I'm kinda enduring an awkward situation at work. One of my closest guy friends works at the same place as I do and I began to develop feelings for him though he has a gf. I told him I liked him and I felt it was best that we ignore each other for awhile so I can get over him. Anyway he asked me if I wanted to hook up with him, i said i did, but then he said i should do it with another guy I like. Anyway during all of this, I got mad at him for jerking my feelings around and I ended up calling him a dog, but then I apologized. The thing is I said all of this via text. The next day I wrote him a letter saying how sorry I was for how I acted, and that it was better that we treat each other as professionals since he has a gf and I need to move on. The thing is that he ignored me. So far, we've been ignoring each other for the past 3 weeks and now it is awkward and i miss talking to him sometimes. Whenever we pass each other it is awkward. What should I do?

I met her two days ago. My good friend introduced me to his girlfrend end her friend (the ONE!) i one coffe shop. I was sitting beside her and my friend was occupied with his new love...So we started to talk. And.... We talked for two hours. We could stop watching each other and everybody notised that, even the people around us. That kind of things are not so hard to tell, you agree? This girl is the most beautiful thing that happened to me for years. I was smiling so long that i had pain in my face.... Of course there is "BUT".

But.... She has a relationship since highschool. I will talk to her, i must do that because I felt something very strong betwenn us. I think she also felt that, because, she left without saying me "Goodbuy" or "nice to meet you", even she told that to my friend. I was confused. What do you think?

My separated roommate spent the last 3 days with his wife and daughter. He came back one night to our apartment because she didn't want him staying there (he stayed with her the other two).

He talked in circles. He told me that we don't have a future. Then he said that somedays he thinks they can work it out, other days he doesn't. He told me how great I am and then said he wanted to be with me and said "what am I going to do?".

He then talked about the financial aspect of it all. He actually wrote down a list of all of our expenses and showed that he couldn't afford to live here if they get a divorce. (he's getting a pay cut soon). He said he's afraid of being bankrupt. Is it just the money, or is this another lame excuse? What would happen if I got a good job and could cover the bills so he could pay alimony?

Yesterday morning me and my bf argued.But it wasn't so long.Then he said 'My maths exam was bad because of our fight.'..Then he started to say 'leave me alone, be away from me etc. etc. etc.' And he said 'I was always alone, now I need to be alone too' I really hurt.They were so unfair and mean words..Now he doesn't phone me..No, we didn't break up but..I don't know what to do..I can't stand it..I never wanted to hurt him or make him bad at his lessons..

Now, what do u recommend?..Should I phone him or wait? If he says sorry, should I forgive him after all that mean words?
