Guys want hot chicks. Even the intelligent ones. The hotter you are the more guys you'll attract, and you can pick and choose the intelligent conversationalists out of the bunch.

I am 18, and I definitely have a thing for very intelligent guys; sometimes even fiercely intelligent ones. ;) Honestly, I don't really care for boys that can't hold an intelligent conversation, or that don't care about their grades or their lives. I wasn't a straight A student, but I was very close, and I definitely had a near-death experience every time I couldn't find my name on the honour roll within three seconds... even though it was there every time! I really do consider myself a nerd (or dork, or whatever you want to call it) on the inside, but I think I look pretty normal. Guys don't give me the time of day either. Not that I'm looking, but it would be nice to know that they are interested every once in a while. I am definitely going to wait it out though. I am not too worried, and I hope you won't be either!

Remember that other
people are asking themselves the same thing. So if you're intelligent and it's reflected in your conversations you should have no problem.
