wow, throwing the same sex into the mix makes for an interesting question. Look at it this way, even if curosity causes someone to kiss another, same sex or not.... kissing is a form of interest (unless it's the common friendship peck on the cheek) however any type of physical contact, whether it be kissing, holding hands, necking, making love, etc, etc. is in my opionion, a form of cheating. It could be the kisser seeks some sort of emotional connection from the Kissee, or perhaps they kiss to see if there is a connection or spark. Either way if your partner is not kissing YOU then there may be something he or she is not getting from you, that is the question to be addressed to your partner. So yes, to me, kissing is cheating because your partner is still trying to meet a need outside of the relationship you have.

Ask yourself these questions: Would I consider it cheating if my boyfriend kissed someone the way I did? Would I still consider it cheating if it was with the same sex? Think about how you'd feel if the tables were turned and you might even discuss this with your boyfriend. In my opinion, yes, it's cheating.

Yes, it is cheating and if you kiss someone of the same sex then you should consider if you really want to be with your partner or if you are gay.

Depends what kind of kiss you gave.

There is a Friendly Kiss, Goodbye Kiss, Passionate Kiss and so on. So for me, kissing someone doesn't ALWAYS mean you are cheating.

are there different "kisses"? YES
don't most kisses have an intention behind them? A kiss to your own children, or family members. The intention is to show your "love".

To kiss your pet, is to show affection........

BUT a kiss that has a hidden "intention" yes is cheating!!

The same sex too.

Cheating has many different definitions. The best one I have heard is "If you can do whatever it is with your spouse watching and they are not jealous or hurt, it would not be cheating."
The same thing could be cheating for one couple and not cheating for another.
