My ex is 21, she always wanted to be a young mother. We broke up because neither of us felt the other truly loved the other and all we ended up doing was fighting and dissappointing each other, hence why I ended it. Now she says I wasted over two years of her life and she says she has to get married within the next couple of years! Is that not just a load of manipulative rubbish designed to make me feel guilty and possibly jealous? Surely she's responsible for herself and atleast it wasn't three and a half years wasted? (not that I agree with the whole wasted thing)

I have been with my partner for 18 months and he lives with me, on at least two occassions we have had a seroius talk about our relationship about certain things need to inprove if it is going to work. ie more of a sex life, help out with domestic stuff more of an effort in the relationship. Nothing seems to have changed and we are going to have a chat later about this.

Will it work or am I just fighting a losing battle? I know he loves me but it isn't enough.

if you look at a woman's ring finger you will, usually, see the wedding band closer to the finger and then the engagement ring.
why is this?
shouldn't it be the engagement ring and THEN the wedding band, since that's the order in which you receive them??

I'm kinda enduring an awkward situation at work. One of my closest guy friends works at the same place as I do and I began to develop feelings for him though he has a gf. I told him I liked him and I felt it was best that we ignore each other for awhile so I can get over him. Anyway he asked me if I wanted to hook up with him, i said i did, but then he said i should do it with another guy I like. Anyway during all of this, I got mad at him for jerking my feelings around and I ended up calling him a dog, but then I apologized. The thing is I said all of this via text. The next day I wrote him a letter saying how sorry I was for how I acted, and that it was better that we treat each other as professionals since he has a gf and I need to move on. The thing is that he ignored me. So far, we've been ignoring each other for the past 3 weeks and now it is awkward and i miss talking to him sometimes. Whenever we pass each other it is awkward. I need some advice on what to do. Before I graduated from doing my BA I was absolutely DREADING entering the workforce.
