I had a best friend for more than 6 years and suddendly in November 2006 he stoped talking to me!Today we spoke a bit but nothing is like before...and the worst part is that i don't know the reason....!Should i text him to find out???

one thing that takes me aback and holds my interest is someone who is as honest and open as i am and just says what they mean whether its good or bad...whether i agree with them or not...

so many people seem to dither around ...working themselves into a frenzy figuring out the best way to say things and end up trying so hard they fall flat on their faces......we have all these wonderful feelings and a million or more beautiful ways of expressing them...and yes there is of course room for that too...but why when it really comes down to business can't people just say what they mean....absolute honesty makes me catch my breath in a real nice way...because its so rare...so do you say what you mean?

My friend from childhood lives 300 miles away, visits regularly and pushed herself in to hols with me recently (ok I should have said no) Consider in her heart she is a true friend but drives me crazy and family can't understand why I don't dump her. In her own words member of her own family told her she is 'irritating'. She is absolutely thick skinned and no matter how something spelt out to her she just comes back eg former friends told her they perhaps just didn't want to know or their husbands didn't like her but she would not end friendship, continued phoning etc. She has plenty of family in her own right but seems to want to be part of everyone elses and asks question eg my son-in-law how much he earned. Told her in no uncertain terms where to go but she then said "Just tell me is it more that £45,000? I argue she would tell her business. Gives awful sale gifts, family say insulting. She think ok. Family says dump her should I?

i have been getting my period since september 2006 and i havent told my mom yet what should i do? if i tell her she will be all momish and slimy sweet but if i don't tell her i have to keep hiding it and thats especaly hard because of school and i had my period on christmas so thats really hard to have happen because it's sooo verry hard to be around people because you wanna chop everyones heads off and not only that but to keep my mom from knowing i cant buy any pads at the store or get any from school so i have to use toilte paper instead, what should i do about all this?

Okay, a freind of mine is going through some major roadbumps in her relationship. And I would like honest opinions from those who have been in the game for a while.

It started this past Thursday night when I met her. Her boyfreind listened to her backstabbing roommates that she had been talking **** about him. He went ahead and changed his online personal profile to where my freind didn't appear like his girlfreind anymore. When she found out about it, she was torn apart. She spent all night trying to get some answers out of him but he was shut tight.

As I spent more time with her, she has expressed how much she doesn't want to be without him. But I'd like to also add some details about the boyfreind. He is 21 and his mother pays his phone bill, credit card bills and tells him how to live. This has included his mom telling him that he shouldn't be with her. From what I gather, they have been together for almost 1 month now, and he seems to be initiating the breakup.
