i would text him. let him know that after the two of you spoke it started you thinking that somethinkg is wrong with the friendship and you don't know what it is. why are we having such difficulties communicating - we've been best friends for over 6 years and you just don't understand what's happening. why did we stopped talking for months and now find it so hard to talk? what's wrong? hope he opens up and tells you what's up. good luck. true friends are hard to find and if you find one, you don't want to lose him.

I think you should text him and ask him if you two can meet somewhere to talk. If he says yes, then when you meet him, ask him what happened between the two of you. If he says he can't then text him and ask him what happened. Personally I think talking in person is better than texting, emailing, or talking on the phone. That way you can see the expression in their faces. Good luck and I hope everything goes good for you. And it is not a stupid question.

If you really want to know, just text or email him. If you get a response in a positive manner you develop it further else find some one else.

don't text him, ask him face to face if possible, tell him after 6 years he owes you to at least respect the friendship you had and give you an explanation, tell him how he has made you feel and tell him how much you miss him...

Yes, you have to get the answer, otherwise there will not be any meaning for your 6 years friendship. You please ask him, if any mistake on your part, try to correct, if mistake is on his part, advise him to rectifiy, if not possible, better to leave him.
