we told his parents but they said he was just messing around~

One night i was with my boyfriend we were sittin in the car and he took my cell phone and i didn't know he had it... so he goes through my text messages and a friend was texting me and he wanted to come see me for my birthday.. he calls my friend who use to be by boyfriend and i still love him and he tells him not to call or text my phone anymore... now i am really worried about my friend cause i care about him alot.. what should i do?

My cousin is getting married in two weeks and invited all of the cousins. When we got the invitations all the older cousins were invited & Guest except for myself. I assumed as a 28 year old adult that I was invited with a date. Before responding I even called his mother to confirm and she said of course. Now...less than two weeks before the wedding she called up another cousin complaining that I responded with a date and that this wedding is costing her $200 a plate and that I'm just a kid, etc.; yet there are 18 year olds invited with dates. I just find it a little tacky that a couple who isn't paying for the wedding themselves and whose parent's are extremely wealthy are being so tacky. I never heard of someone my age not being invited with a date. I planned on covering the cost for myself and my guest. What is the etiquette when inviting adults to a wedding? Shouldn't they be invited with a date? And have you ever heard of the cost being thrown out at people? Thanks!

I used 2 be a very happy person, who didn't worry much and I was more relaxed in the past.Now all of the sudden I'm taking life to seriously and I've began losing friends and even lost my boyfriend for a while. I'm not sure why I changed so much but a lot of things happened during that time. I finished school started working while all my friends are still in school, then I've been lied to in the past a lot and hurt in relationships that now I have trust issues and I sort of took it out on my bf and blame him for it which in a way isn't fair but then he lied to me about some things and now its even worse.I'm finding that now i'm trying into a very controling person &negative person &I don't know how to help it.He ended up breaking up with me because he couldnt stand the arguments but I felt that we argued cuz of things he would do knowing I wouldn't be ok wiht it but he was. I wasnt ok with him going out with just his "girl friends", and he'd promise he wouldn't but he'd end up doing it

I start going out with this guy like almost 3 months ago. We just found out a week ago that he is definitely this child's father. My fianncee 12 years ago asked if the child was his and this woman said no. Now we know she wasn't sure between him and another guy and just wanted to raise the child herself with no complications. Well she got married when the girl was 8 months, so she figured problem solved, he'd be the father. Three years ago they get divorced and this guys gf doesn't want him to see this girl since she's really not his....what a ****. Anyways, now she found my fiancee and is trying to give her daughter closure and let her know he real dad. We of course were both scared and all but she's not wanting money or anything, honestly she made the situation by turning my fiancee away from her 12 years ago...but that's the past. So far everything has gone well, talking on the phone with her and the daughter, her daughter is excited about meeting my fiancee and me! I"m excited too, she seems so sweet and I want to show her love...

i have a boyfriend and we've been dating for almost 4 years now. the first time i went to their house, i wasn't given the respect that i was expecting from his family. his dad doesn't like me bcoz they have a family friend with a daughter same age as my bf. his dad likes that girl for my bf. well too bad, im still with his son and we're planning to get married this october.

here's the reason why his dad doesn't like me - he said im skinny, he thinks that im sick or an addict - but im not!! it actually runs in our family, we're healthy but its not just obvious bcoz we're not fat. everytime i go to their house, he ignores me, like i dont exist. his mom and grandparents are great! its just his dad.

how would you deal with this kind of situation? how are we going to tell his dad about our wedding plans? im worried that he might not give us the blessings.

so for whatever reason, my conscience is clear of being angry and hurt from the last one. and its been awhile, but i feel like i turned a corner, peace of mind etc. now i also feel i can date around with girls again, not that i wasn't before, but at least now i feel i can do it honestly. since its taken this long to get to this point, how long does one wait before allowing urself to be snagged up again. i mean shes a good girl to pal around with, but if i'm gonna do this again, i want to go for the gold. My ex has never been faithful to any woman and this weekend he mentioned he had cheated on his current (live-in) girlfriend Friday night (and by the sounds of it he almost got caught by her). His gf is a sweet girl and is great with our son. I'm glad he's with her, but hopefully she's a strong enough woman to leave him if she knew. It benefits me to have them stay together, but if I were in her shoes, I think I would want to know. I know, though, that telling her will create drama. Should I tell her or keep it to myself?
